very important point. The liquid cooling is what the Apache misses despite having other great features. Bajaj 200 cc bikes are all liquid cooled. this helps in Highway ride for long travels where engine can get heated.
Imad 77 It didnt come with liquid cooling because it didn't need one,but whereas the peaky engine of the 200NS needed one because more power = more heat,and Beyond a point of cc size,All of them need to be liquid cooled.This is why the RR310 is liquid cooled.The RTR didn't have any heating problems as such on the highways or anywhere for that matter.But if it had a higher compression ratio,more aggressive set of tune and more power,That oil cooling System would struggle and liquid cooling would do better - That's why the NS200 and Duke 200 is Liquid Cooled.The engine is under higher stress.

You revved the shit out of this bike in 4th gear 119kmph. I was surprised to see you forgetting it has another gear left. Overall adequate performance machine. TVS needs to make a 6 gear semi faired 200 cc machine like pulsar 220. They are still selling like hot cakes.
For all of those commenting and praising ns 200 m pretty much sure they would not even have crossed 130 kmph twice in their life and what's the benefit of having a better top end ....most of 200 cc buyers are from cities and considering our urban traffic conditions one would reach 100 with difficulty and even if he reaches there I can guarantee no one would be staying there for more than 10 seconds in city ..... Of course ns is a good product but unlike tvs it's parts strts to rattle even before first service...and personally me living in a city like Delhi I would prefer rtr as I take my bike on highways once in a blue moon and remaining 99% of the time I can smoke any ns in bottom end performance that too with a bike with premium fit and finish ....cheers to every Rider and safe riding to all
I own this beast and I must say it's a beautiful bike. Looks gorgeous, has about 20.5 PS of power, getting a mileage of above 40 right now. The exhaust note is brilliant, it's an attention seeker on road. It's got an amazing bassy and loud exhaust note. I've removed the saree guard, because it looked really bad on the vehicle. The vehicle hits 100 in about 10 seconds itself, no vibrations or anything. The only problem I'm facing is that my gear position indicator is faulty and there's a screechy noise from the rear break. Otherwise it's a brilliant bike, go for it.
So what Honda didn't gave a kill switch, its way way better than this shit TVS, which sounds shit, Comfort is shit, looks 🤮, Skinny tyres , all bikes looks the same like some Splendor 😂😂

There is so much confusion for TVS Apache RTR 200 4v race edition 2.0... 1. No FI engine with ABS, no announcement till now.. 2. ABS version is only for white and glossy Black... 3. FI is only for white colour.. 4. Matt grey/ Matt red has neither FI engine nor ABS 5. Matt Black is nowhere available... What's wrong with TVS.... !!! There are too many people who wants FI engine with ABS in their favourite colour....
It's handles really well, low end punch is absolutely awesome, duel channel abs is there, looks stunningly gorgeous, slipper clutch and the gear shifts are so smooth thanks to closely stacked gear ratio. So yes it's one the best in the 200cc segment, if not the best!
Don't buy ns 200. I don't know in detail, but the newer edition of ns 200 has engine problem, me and my brother just came from service center, my brothers have engine noise in his ns, and we met many guys complaining the same.. There is engine problem in ns, it may br the case of newer units. You can go and check in bajaj service centers, you will know.. Ps my bro ns has just done 600km

Can't believe Bajaj had achieved all of that except the ABS, with Pulsar 200 DTSi 8 years ago, prior to the release of Apache 200. More top speed, almost similar acceleration, rock solid stability, zero vibrations and similar fuel efficiency. Wow TVS, your race edition in 2018 has already been beaten by Bajaj's performance commuter bike in 2007.
What is the best to buy in 150-160cc category . Gixxer 155 , NS 160, apache 160 4v, cb hornet 160, pulsar 150, X blade . safety , easy to handle on traffic , comfort on long trips
Apache 160 the late model has only a single channel abs (less safety). Cb hornet less comfort on long trips and the clutch system is subpar compared to other 2019 dual sport bikes. X Blade, nothing to write home about except for its 60 per litre mileage (Really good practical city commuter). Pulsar 150- not a futuristic design, poor engine refinement and gearbox, altho great mileage (65 km). Final verdict goes to GIXXER 155!! latest model has two channel abs, beautifully fine tuned engine and gear box with a nice handle clutch, which makes it easy on traffic. 50 mileage.The bike looks sexy asf too. Downside is you might have to shell out more than any of the other bikes at 1 lakh but WORTH IT

Bought RTR 200 4v 2.0 bike on 12-09-2018 which is my first bike. Till date 05-12-2018 I have visited the service center for atleast 6 times because of cold starting issue. There was other issue like sound near the engine which was "other then engine sound" for which they lubricated the sprocket and gave but the issue recurred, The handle bar doesn't turn to left freely for which they told" Caliper is mounted on to right because of unbalance it wont turn to left freely" I stay in Bangalore and it hardly drops to 18°C but the bike won't start in the morning for which they told " Use choke to start the bike in the morning and all the RTR 200 vehicle has to be started with the choke ON to start the vehicle in the morning"
No one ever thought that Bajaj and TVS wud bring Naked and most value for money sport series bikes... And also its a disastrous for Hero to have an death in this stage
the funny part is that my apache 160 has that kind of a top speed of this 200cc 😂😂😂 i ride it daily and ride it at speeds of over 100-115kmph and its top speed is about-126-128kmph 🤣 and here we have it's 200cc version that can do just what a 160 version can. what's the use of being a 200cc bike then? and the funniest part is that the revs on the 160-180 apache climb so damn fast and get slow after 124-126kmph. but till then it's fast and a great bike. God knows what was tvs thinking while manufacturing this apache 200
200cc bike can do only 125kmph...itz shame for tvs over bajaj...becoz my pulsar150 2010 model doing a top speed of 123kmph...which has only 15.06ps of power and 12.5Nm of torque...low end is lagging,mid range is good and the top end is the absolutely fire on my bike...post 7500rpm to 9500rpm redline it cleanly pulls...🔥🔥🔥

Even I face the same issue with my gear position indicator. And it's quite problematic to find the neutral gear and sometimes, fault shifting.
Yeah buddy. I've visited the service centre quite a few times to get this solved but it hasn't helped.
My gear position indicator is not causing any problem ...but there is a scretchy sound in my one too...

Bought RTR 200 4v 2.0 bike on 12-09-2018 which is my first bike. Till date 05-12-2018 I have visited the service center for atleast 6 times because of cold starting issue. There was other issue like sound near the engine which was "other then engine sound" for which they lubricated the sprocket and gave but the issue recurred, The handle bar doesn't turn to left freely for which they told" Caliper is mounted on to right because of unbalance it wont turn to left freely" I stay in Bangalore and it hardly drops to 18°C but the bike won't start in the morning for which they told " Use choke to start the bike in the morning and all the RTR 200 vehicle has to be started with the choke ON to start the vehicle in the morning"

the funny part is that my apache 160 has that kind of a top speed of this 200cc 😂😂😂 i ride it daily and ride it at speeds of over 100-115kmph and its top speed is about-126-128kmph 🤣
and here we have it's 200cc version that can do just what a 160 version can.
what's the use of being a 200cc bike then?
and the funniest part is that the revs on the 160-180 apache climb so damn fast and get slow after 124-126kmph.
but till then it's fast and a great bike.

200cc bike can do only 125kmph...itz shame for tvs over bajaj...becoz my pulsar150 2010 model doing a top speed of 123kmph...which has only 15.06ps of power and 12.5Nm of torque...low end is lagging,mid range is good and the top end is the absolutely fire on my bike...post 7500rpm to 9500rpm redline it cleanly pulls...🔥🔥🔥

its a new bike man so how can u except real juice out out of it . engine has to be settel in . motul 7100 can deliver good performance of the engine coz those tru4 tvs engine oil is waste . many factors depend .

Being a 82 kg rider, I have touched 137 on odo on dnd noida delhi) with 180, it could go to 140 after service.
