My thermostat for my 03 tacoma didn’t come with a o-ring.. is it supposed to have one ? I don’t see a place where it would go on the thermometer

Not really unless is old antifreeze otherwise just refill

Try to remove it with the skinny flat head without damaging the housing or Try to pulled with pliers
