Pompompurin Mosaic | Hello Kitty Crafts

Hello Friends! Today we’re going to show you how to make a supercute mosaic of Pompompurin using beans of different shapes and sizes. Did you know Pompompurin’s birthday is April 16? That’s why he’s our Friend Of The Month! We’re using beans but you can use paper or anything else you might have handy and create your very own Pompompurin or any of your favorite Sanrio characters! This calming craft is perfect for rainy spring days when you have to stay inside and want to nap like Pompompurin loves to do.

Materials Needed
Paper plate
Scissors
White glue
Pencil
Dried beans (various sizes and shapes)
Picture of Pompompurin or your favorite Sanrio character
Paintbrushes
(01:19) Step 1: Sketch the outline of Pompompurin on your paper plate with a pencil.
(01:40) Step 2: Paint a layer of glue onto the outline of Pompompurin and then place beans on your outline.
(02:15) Step 3: Add navy beans for his eyes and nose.
(02:40) Step 4: Cover his entire body with glue and use a paintbrush to spread it evenly.
(02:48) Step 5: Fill in his body with navy beans. Fill his surroundings with more glue and add pinto beans.
(03:22) Step 6: Paint Pompompurin's body yellow. Paint his eyes and mouth, outline, and beret brown.
(03:50) Step 7: Paint the mosaic background golden yellow. We’re all finished!
