Psycho Cut Medi with buffed Ice Punch and perhaps Psychic (even though it’s a bad move). Gets at the Clodsire/Mandi core. Along with Ice Fang Arctibax hitting super effective on that core with the fast and charged attacks (it appears Ice Fang will be a two turn clone of Dragon Breath).
I think Willpower has made players a bit too positive about Medicham. Outside of that cup, it is very bad into neutral matchups and straight up loses to common picks like Feraligatr, Galarian Moltres, Malamar, Azumarill, Serperior. Medicham needs much more for a revival
I think for show 6 yes, Open Great League is hard to justify with a stat distribution not even reaching 1700 and just being barely bulkier than Galvantula is, but without debuffing purposes. I am pessimistic but would honestly love to be proven wrong
I don't disagree per se, but for GL/UL it would really just be for degen purposes considering it's incredibly low bulk. For Master League, it's viable but always hanging between hard losing to Rhyperior and doing well vs Yveltal/Kyogre
You missed vigoroth bulldoze. Bulldoze + rockslide at a 35 energy bulldoze he wins vs: Gator (you get into shield disadvantages and farm down) Dunsparce duh And now! Clodsire in 2 shields against stoneedge and if you have 1 counter lead vs sludgebomb. Also your winner of this patch are all weak vs vigo :)
That is assuming Bulldoze will drop from 60 to 35 energy. I didn’t miss Vigoroth - I don’t think it will be relevant anytime soon. The fact it loses 0s and 1s to Diggersby while outputting super effective damage is a display of how sad the Pokemon has become
@@thebirdthatflew Avalugg as Ice or Dragonite as Dragon are prob better than Baxcalibur in that role, but I guess Ice Fang Baxcalibur can fight back a bit better vs Fairies!
Thank got for rage fist nerf!!!! I personally would be fine with rage fist as is if it wasnt a legacy move if it was made a standard move id say keep it as is
Very good one! - I missed out on it truthfully. Or maybe intentionally and I forgot about, because looking at it, Ice-typing is a really bad mono-type in defense (only resisting Ice). In a meta where Water-type Pokémon are not dominant, Avalugg could become really freaking good. That's pretty much every open league right now though
@Inadequance i simmer it a while back with Powder Snow, icy wind, and avalanche and it crushed neutral matchups. I just want my ice table to be good. Atleast it'll be one of the funniest Zygarde checks.
@@Inadequance Casual pvper opinion: Normally ice is bad defensively but there isn't much fighting, rock and, steel move pressure aside from the stray iron head/ close combats. Fire is also pretty scarce in ML and the only things I can think of are Ho-oh and Solgaleo. I think the biggest problem with ice is just the one resist it has.
@@mrundy9351you are right that there’s not much of those in Master (Premier), but my concern is Water type Pokemon like Primarina and Kyogre, but also opposing Hisuain Avalugg. Annihilape was fine. The mistake was giving it to Primeape. Yesterday i lost the two shields with Azumarill Vs Shadow Primeape, and it’s honestly absurd. That fucking monkey had to go. But sad for Annihilape
@ ah, thanks for your thoughts. I’ve been trying to run it, as spice, with sucker punch. I do feel it’s missing a few things to actually be good. Bulk definitely one thing.
I promise you this doesn't matter for 90% of the player base. I run Nothing but 15 15 15 Pokémon in all three leagues and have been around 2300 to 2500 for the three seasons ive played. (Ive hit 2500 last season but it really doesn't give you that much more rewards. The daily SD is more far more important) as long as you have a basic team that semi covers weaknesses, you will be fine. (Just get one fast move for sheild pressure and one nuke move on the pokemon you want to play with and you will win more than you lose)
@@be9240 for anyone looking to improve, this is probably the worst take to follow 😅 nothing wrong with trying to aim higher than the same elo every season - and clearly you care too or you wouldn’t be looking up PvP content?
@Inadequance no but being expert and legend is possible even with this strategy. I'm just using pvp for Star Dust. So after I get to 20 I only do one to two rounds a day for the 2 to 10k Star dust. It's a good task to follow otherwise every few months you will need to keep changing up your team to keep up with the meta. Which most people find annoying. Aka why I posted it. You don't need to do the next best Meta pick to have a good ranking. You can use the pokemon you like and still get plently far in the rankings.
@irvhoz7225 the fact that I get to 2500 plus every season without shows it works just fine. If I wanted to get higher I probably could, since I normally go 3 out of 5 or 4 out of 5 the majority of the time.
@9:00 I like the way you format these updates!
Dont tell NTC that h-electrode just got buffed

Great overview... I liked the presentation of the pokemons with the whitening of the less relevant ones...
Shadow Manectric gets Thunder Fang and has STAB on it as well as Psychic Fangs. It could potentially be interesting in certain limited formats.

Great video. Really enjoyed watching this
Mightyena has more viability, and I'm all for it. Especially in show 6 formats.
Finally my rank 1 will be usable for hopefully some restricted format lol
If only we had Willpower Cup here, Ice Fang Mightyena was corebreaking every team I faced until Gardevoir decided to be a dick about it.

But yeah at 35 energy. At 40 it is crap
Thanks. Gonna build up my diggers B
Nah, no stab counter being his best fast move will forever doom him regardless of charged move coverage imo
Zygarde got secretly buffed with Bulldoze. I have a rank 2 UL 11/14/15 that is still in the dog form sitting at lvl 15.
It just makes him more like Master League Carbink. A Sand Tomb knockoff isn't what he needed. This is just like giving Bastiodon icy wind.
I was trying to get EQ on mine and ran out of TM's on Bulldoze, so I am already ready already.
