i dun get how soi fong was able to land that many hits when yourichi still had that much strength left.
that's because Yoruichi is a very playful, carefree and at times rebelious person, she doesn't like being in charge, taking responsibilities etc.
She knew Soi Fon had a very strong desire to prove herself to her, that she had a inferiority complex regarding other people that was close to her even back in the days and understood she harbored anger towards her after she abandoned her duties and Soi Fon along with anything else.
In her own way, Yoruichi tried to let Soi Fon feel she had closed the gap between them by her own strength, feel less of a person beneath and vent out her abandonment issues among other things.
Once Soi Fon started dabbling in things she didn't quite understand the reprecussion of, she became serious and had to shut it down before someone got truely hurt or killed.
