Wow, have not heard Praise HIm, Praise HIm for so long. I used to play it and all the good old Baptist Hymns at my church in Sacramento for the worship services and evening service and Wednesday night prayer meetings back in 1970's . But hymns replaced with worship contemporary music. Love the piano instrumental music while on the computer. Since Jesus Came into my Heart was one of my dad's favorite songs and Tis so Sweet to Trust in Jesus. He used to lead the music on Wednesday prayer meeting often and I would play often. Now I play many hymn's at nursing home for 70-80 years olds to sing for those in wheelchairs. I also sing acappella at rehab place for Alzheimer's 2X a month for 4 years. Been playing for nursing home about 8-9 years. Leader is 79 years old and been at my church from the beginning about 55 years ago. Praise God for sharing your talent on youtube!!

Having to listen to the profane , celebrating licentiousness, so called music of the forces of darkness where I work, God`s music is a healing balm. Come quickly Jesus !

Songs that are a complete embodiment of the Gospel of Christ! These song writers were truly anointed. How I pray that God breathes His Holy Spirit into our church today as He did with the early church and these evangelicals.

These hymns may be thought of as "antique" - but that's me - I'm an antique as well. If I could have a desire granted, it would be to re-live the Sunday night services at Twin Lakes Baptist Church in Santa Cruz, Ca on 7th Avenue - we sang our hearts out. These hymns - played as written, and not with a "modern" tempo - thrill my soul! Thank you so much.
Me to! I am also antique! I remember attending church on Sunday nights and singing so many choruses that were so uplifting. On Saturday night there were always Youth for Christ meeting with great music with Jim Wilson later Crusade for Christ. Now at church it seems the verse is sang over and over and over again.Not to complain I'm glad to go to church to worship my Lord and Saviour. I am glad to be an antique in this day and age with all the upheaval in the world today.
I pray for my children and grandchildren. I don't know what tomorrow brings but I know Who Controls tomorrow. Come Lord Jesus I am waiting patiently for your perfect timing.

It reminds me of the olden days I sang in a choir and this was one of our favorite uplifting songs, "Master the Tempest is raging." The message of this song is still relevant up to this day. Thank you for let it ring again in my heart. God bless you~

These are hymns of our parents! And each one reminds me of my years as a pastor's kid growing up in a parsonage ... right under our church. And volunteering to be our church janitor as inspired by the young Samuel. Some of these songs were our favorite in Sunday School. Thanks for sharing these uplifting collection. Made my Sunday!

These beautiful hymns take me back over the years right to childhood. We loved them then, and still do. For us they were Sabbath hymns. I mean the original Sabbath rest day of the Creation--the seventh day, when God rested from all His work and blessed and sanctified that day and hallowed it. Genesis 2: 1-3. Many of us still continue to keep that day--the day Jesus and His disciples kept, and the day that the redeemed from Earth will keep in eternity. Isaiah 66: 23. And as it says in the heading above, just under the date of publication--"Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever." His rest day has not changed--praise His Name! Whether we worship on whichever day in this modern time of many changes, let's sing these beautiful "songs of Zion" to His glory and we shall be blessed! There's no doubt about that! God bless you all!
