I was just 13 years old at the time. I really wanted to go to the VOLKSHAUS concert there in Zurich. But my parents wanted to prevent this at all costs. So it wasn't until 1991 that I went to the KRAFTWERK concert for the first time. This time again at the VOLKSHAUS Zurich
Hi. I cannot pay more respects than all the people comments here. Been listening to this concert for many years in the original bad sound and it was one of my favourite concert recordings ever. Now, listening to it digitally it just blew my mind. Your minutiae is astounding and, obviously, a labour of love. Thx 😍
@@coptv - Keen to know about the "reconstruction" process........ Is this a home re-master job of an old live audio recording or does it comprise actual re-recorded/re-tracked/re-mixed elements?

This is one of the most precious things i've seen and listened to here in UA-cam. I would watch it for hours and hours... congratulations on your amazing work of love on this band and thank you for this.
It is a pleasure to to listen to your digital concert reconstruction. I'm letting the video play while relaxing after a long day of work. It feels like I'm listening to a high quality radio broadcast of a concert that happened nearly 42 years ago in Japan. You made every instrument sound as close to the original as possible. It is a beautiful concert. I enjoy your renditions of Neon Lights, Autobahn and Showroom Dummies so much. It is wonderful that you revived the Vako Orchestron sound for Neon Lights. Ralf used it for Neon Lights in Italy and Spain but the instrument was not reliable in concert and sadly was no longer used after those early concerts. Every song is beautiful, it makes me happy that you are sharing this with us.
So GOOD! Thanks. I saw them 2004 and it had some prob. It was 1st. Gig of European Tour. I have a bootleg from 1981 and this is amazing... This is made so well, I love this!

Wow, what an amazing concert. I've been a fan of Kraftwerk for over 10 years now and been to a few concerts, but I can safely say that this is the best that I have heard!

Thank you! The idea is to recreate the performances in Digital High -quality, through virtual instruments, preserving the essence of the sounds Normally, that's made on records with bad quality, giving people a sensation of what would be like to enjoy the real thing in an old performance.

No. The elements of this specific concert were studied and reconstructed according to the original source in Digital high-quality. It was provided by COP Audio Services - Contemporary & Old-School Productions.
The stage setup they had in those days fascinates me. Makes me think of a control room at a nuclear power station in a way.

The video source came from a TV broadcast from 1982. So, probably, yes. They used the soundboard in the original broadcast.

Yes. The patches will be available as soon as possible. Maybe not in Arturia files, but a wide-compatible instrument. :D
