When i was 12 or 13 and going to Camp Pascobac on the mainland on the Newfy Bullet 1962-63 from Stephenville, I took the latch off the caboose door and had it as a souvenier for many years.
I have a hand built model of steam locomotive Number 308 of the Newfoundland Railway. Built by a former engineer there, I bought it at a flea market in Belleville Ontario a few years ago. In rough shape I restored it and prize it now. It sits on a shelf in my kitchen

that locomotive was built in 1941 and scrapped by CN in 1953.
