Sorry to ask questions super fun video, however I cannot figure out how to attempt to catch raid den Pokémon. Ill complete the raid and receive the exp but I get no item rewards or a chance to catch for myself. Is there like an item I need to acquire before hand?

@@lauchenyang9559 I figured out the problem, on the most recent update to the Pixelmon mod they added TCG cards. You can fix this by going into the TCG config and disable essence drops. Or you can just go the next version under of the mod, I couldn't figure out how edit the config so I just went a version lower and it works fine. I do believe they are working on a fix in the meantime tho.

I started to play pixelmon and idk why the shiny pokemon don’t have sparkles on them to show you that they are shiny, is there a comand or something i should turn on?

in pixelmon add the mods TravelersBackpack, Biome's O Pleanty, OpenTerrainGenerator AND in all caps Biome Bundle. Seriously I was in Pixelmon if edited correctly at least for ever just playing Pixelmon and couldn't stop playing for years! don't forget about optifine shaders! Oh, btw if you don't have Not Enough Items or Journey Map in it you might want it if you want a pokemon radar and a recipe finder. Though they should come with the modpack. the first mods I listed don't come with it.
Edit: it really doesn't have to be edited but to make your pokemon experience better you can also edit the ingame pixelmon configs and up the Pixelmon spawn rate and it makes pokemon fly in flocks and looks very cool. These mods make pixelmon feel completely different in my opinion. on a finer viewing level and more space of inventory with backpacks. seriously i played this with my friend and it's super hard to catch his attention on something for a while and i got him completing the whole pokedex as did I. So if I had to say what would make pixelmon better i'd choose these mods all the way.
Another Edit: Theres a mod that brings Biome Bundle and Biome O Pleanty together. It's literally called "Biomes Bundle O Pleanty" It tells you in the mod description how to make the world function on a server and in your world.

Just in case I'll say it again.
There are different versions of every mod. You'd want to get both versions of NEI and Pixelmon that make the two compatible. Sadly I'm not home right now so I can't tell you the exact mods I use unless you download Pixelmon+ on Technic.
On that note, there are different versions of Pixelmon per launcher and I'm assuming you got it from the original Pixelmon website or Curse Forge? I downloaded my Pixelmon from the Technic Launcher.
I personally use Pixelmon+ , though it gets updated almost monthly which does get of annoying because you'd have to remod it every update. Though your world will still save even modded terrain as long as you don't forget to put the mods back in. You'll just need to redo your controls and settings and for the mods, you could just make a folder for you to drag and drop them in which is quick. NEI and Journey Map should be installed with Pixelmon+ including some other mods that probably help run pixelmon+ like the foamfix. I think all pixelmon versions have that though.
As for the other mods that I mentioned above in my original comment, the biome mods, there is a better biomes o' plenty and biome bundle that brings them together. I'll update my first comment so I wouldn't recommend making your new world without reading the last edit... sorry for that. Trust me, it's worth though.

I hate to be technical but that was the ground gym not rock. The gym leader used ground types and the quake badge originated in pokemon black and white from clay, unova regions ground type gym leader.
