So it’s a direct swap into 92-95 gauge cluster? No wiring? Because I have a 94 civic Hb and wanted to swap in the Omni power tach w/ shift light. Problem is they ONLY make this tach for 96-00 Civics. Any help appreciated.
@Chris Jeff , thanks for help/reply. (My real name Chris too Lol) . Yeah been in the Honda game many years but never did ALOTTA of EG swap stuff mostly CRX’s . So wasn’t sure on interchange of these parts. Did you actually use a 96/00 tach in your EG cluster? Just don’t want to blow $130.00 on EK tach if won’t work on my EG cluster is all.
I need to know if the EK rev counter from cluster works with the 3 connection bolds of EG. Eg is hard to fing and I have an EK one. As electric it works normal? ( Will fit as plastic and bolds)
I completed the si cluster swap in my eg re checked all the wiring, at first it worked fine, I turned the lights on the cluster one day and it started smoking a little behind the cluster, changed the bulbs out from a different cluster, turned the lights on and it was fine, turned them off and back on and the tach is the only thing that lights up, if I tap the cluster the rest light up sometimes. Any idea ? Thanks.
Pins C12 (GND) and C13 (+) are for all 5 bulbs behind the cluster and the 2 on the front-top which were discarded when you did the conversion. Make sure the wires are isolated and insulated. Also, check the circuit trace behind the cluster for burn through.
I plugged up an extra 96-00 cluster just now and it worked fine all the lights lit up, I also plugged my si cluster into an ek and it did the same thing in their car only lights that worked was tach and when I tapped on it the speedo lit up then went away, the circuit board on mine looks burnt in spots. Also I noticed the bulbs looked burnt as well, thanks for your help I really appreciate it.
Too much current is what's causing the traces to burn. If tapping the cluster helps then you have a loose connection somewhere in the trace. Check your bulb connectors or the burnt trace spots may be the issue.
I just. Want to swap in a 96-00 Civic Omni Power tach w/ shift light into my 94’ EG HB gauge cluster . (They ONLY make Omni Power tach for 96-00 Civics) So is it a direct screw in? Is it compatible with my EG plugs ? Or do I need a 96-00 tach plug pigtail? Thanks in advance
That last plug was the additional lighting that was not needed. I cut it off and did not want bare wire exposed so I heat shrunk them with a single heat shrink tubing. They are not to be connected together.
Only problem i see is odometer discrepancy, only IF you were to sell it eventually.. otherwise, good video! (note: if doing this mod --a certified speedometer shop can legally reset your new replacement to old mileage)..
So clean 😮
Great job man
Bro you great, big up you self
I swapped the RPM from the 99-00 SI cluster into my 95 coupe EX.. works like a charm
No problems?

Not One
It should. We used to do this way back when with stock parts

Can you show the wiring?
How did you remove the clear screen without breaking it.

awesome
in doing this do all the guages work like the temp guage for example :D
Nice
So you can swapt the clusters and it fits in the dash or do you got cut the plastic like he did
LOL the way it turned on
I have questions is there way I can get it hold of you?
What tape did you use during 5:56/8:39?
Thats fucking bad asssS !!
ey yo u gotta show how to wired and put it back in the car....
show us step by step?
Hi, just want to ask if there's no modification needed in wiring? Just plug and play? Thanks
Yes re wiring is needed
Hello good day
I did the conversion from the SI cluster to my 1992 civic, the only thing that doesn't work for me is the gas meter. Any solution?
Try changing the fuel gauge and if it doesn't work then it may be the floater in the fuel tank
I have mine hooked up and when I start the car the speedometer moves with the tachometer, any ideas ?
I figured it out I had the car on jack stands in gear smh lol.
Lmfaoooo I’m dead
Dis the si cluster plug n play into the civic 92??
Hey wasup bro, would you be willing to do this same job for someone, if compensated of course????
I completed the si cluster swap in my eg re checked all the wiring, at first it worked fine, I turned the lights on the cluster one day and it started smoking a little behind the cluster, changed the bulbs out from a different cluster, turned the lights on and it was fine, turned them off and back on and the tach is the only thing that lights up, if I tap the cluster the rest light up sometimes. And also what would cause the circuit trace to have burn through? I’ll go back and check my wiring one more time, the bulbs felt really hot as well.

Okay thanks
Did the cluster wires plug back in directly?
Unfortunately, the plugs are not plug and play. You will need to wire in the pigtails for the new cluster.

Would you actually do this for someone, if they needed it done. Paid job of course???
Want to sell it?
Hey ahh can you do mine?
what was that last plug you crimped for?
That last plug was the additional lighting that was not needed. I cut it off and did not want bare wire exposed so I heat shrunk them with a single heat shrink tubing. They are not to be connected together.
thanks for the response! can you do a full length detailed video on it? just get confused on trimming.
I will be sure to make a more detailed version when I have the chance to make another one. Please subscribe to my channel.
+It's Konglicious you got my sub man, don't forget !

Geoff Mayberry who cares
I know RIGHT? There’s always gotta be that ONE guy in the comments. SMH
Sounds like that engine needs oil
Breakerisaac sounds like it’s dying
give me your old one i dont even have rpm
I kind of freaking hate my honda its just way too time consuming. I get no rewards.
La misma mierda
Clean STOCK look? That's like makeup for the natural look.
