I know it's been sometime since this video and I thought I posted this comment already, but I may not have. The guys and I tried working on a second 100 Days of Valheim, but we ran into a bunch of issues while recording and playing. Things like lost footage, random server roll backs, people having issues joining the game, etc. When we finally got around to being able to play, we realized it was on day 130 and we lost 30 days of footage. With that and all the issues we decided to scrap the idea of 200 days.
Just started a fresh playthrough after a WHILE of not playing. And I'm falling in love all over again lol. With my knowledge of the game I have now, and whole new world seed. I'm just gassing solo now. Been spending a lot of time in the bronze age as of late, that stage of the game is SUPER slow solo. gotta gather tin, copper, fine wood, make a new cauldron, gather new food recipes, make the fermenter, upgrade your new station and gear, make meads, set up portals, find the elder spawn, make a boat, and head to where its at.
I'd say I'm about 90% ready to take him on. I'm making sure I crafted everything the bronze age has for me, I'm playing it on slightly harder difficulty.

As a new player who's doing it entirely solo, man does it feel freeing once you've got some iron gear and are absolutely _plundering_ sunken crypts for ever more iron to fully load your Longship rather than having to build a ringfort around a bunch of copper nodes and then having to make multiple trips back for one node with the ol' Karve.
Sure, fortifying your mining site adds to the building experience, but fuck having to deal with the constant and never ending waves of overworld mobs that necessitates it in the first place. I wish so much that there was a setting to make monster spawning less frequent, rather than easier or passive.

Bury campfires, and or workbenches around your work sites. Crafting stations, and torches prevent spawning. So burying campfires around an area can completely disable spawns in a given area
@@convergence1point No, I know how to do that, I just don't like it. Monster attacks should just be less frequent overall, allowing a bit less of a constant frenzy of combat, without needing to make the fights themselves easier.
me and friends made the same mistake, this is not minecraft.. Cant live on cooked pig forever. Better food gives better health. Make a pot, get the good food. Lot of health, lot of stamina.
Valheim hits all of my brain's reward centers.
Man, I'd love to see you guys progress to the other biomes! Totally understand if you choose not to.

Awesome vid. This game can break you if you take it to seriously. Would love to see you guys progress. Playing the first time through, you learn how balanced it is. For example, you just can’t go to the plains right away. We learned that the hard way… 😅 Here’s hoping for some more!
Thats for sure, we played before, but years ago and I have never gotten farther than bonemass.

Aw man first time i found an abomination i almost shit myself. I was not preppared one bit as i didn't even know one existed before the first leg came up and slammed down 1m infront of me😂
But standing ontopp of a crypt saves you, same with the swamp boss.
I had a workbench ontopp of a crypt with roof and 2 crates packed with wood arrows for backup

The roof is easier if you use a mix of the degrees to bring it to the center faster. The higher you build the more stability you need.

Me and one of my friends has like 215 days but most of it was being in a death loop we would both die and take forever to get items back but we are now in mistlands (best biome I won’t spoil)

I just dropped the 701st like soooo…
If you get frustrated about the grind snd wanna ease it s bit...theres s duplication method that isnt a glitch and cant be patched. I make sure it isnt abused by only doing it fir items from biomes already conquered/building materials and it works for us
Nice going guys should try making crops foods (you should have carrot seeds and turnip seeds to star your farm by now) they will help you to get better stamina/health
I had carrots growing, but don't think we found any turnips, unless someone else had them.
