Between the old Sears building, the Diamond, Stone & Thomas and the old Montgomery Wards, Christmas shopping wasn't complete until you visited all four. It's sad to lose all those old stores over the years.
Lots of memories from that old Sears building. The local SCCA held autocross events in the parking lot on Sundays. That was back when most businesses were closed on Sunday.
