To a certain extent ,the factors this gentleman points out is correct.but there are many reasons for loss of revenue. Tax exemption, corrupted deals,less export Agriculture crops (lack of fertilizer)& many more .It looks like he does not want to mention the real culprits who did this damage over a period of time. All the other countries severely affected by the Pandemic has recovered and recorded positive GDP by now. Srilanka's current Economic crisis is a result of several years of mismanagement , corruption, shortsighted policy making & overall lack of governance. No wonder the people are trying to escape from this country as quickly as possible since the future looks uncertain.
