Thank you for saying you had cancer...I also recovered from cancer, but kept waiting for dooms day.....now I know I have a chance to thrive like you Jane...I can keep getting older, working out, eating right...I don't just need to survive...I'm 75 and for some reason, just watching this video has sent me on a new track...they say we teach by example..THANK YOU FOR YOUR EXAMPLE JANE!!!!!!!

For 50+ years, she's rocked my world in EVERY way. I'm CRAZY about the immensity of her talents, her activism, her feminism. My wish is that she be offered ONE LAST KILLER FILM ROLE on par with Klute... because she has that capacity and capability. I saw her 3 times on Broadway in "33 Variations" and was blown away by her stunning presence, this iconic actress who hadn't set foot on a Broadway stage in over 45 years, did 8 performances per week and was nominated for a Tony Award. An absolutely AMAZING performance by an astonishing woman.

Jane and I go back a long way, back to my days as sophomore in college when I first saw Barbarella - I've since seen it more than a dozen times. I fell in love and have been so ever since. My admiration for her has only grown through the years. God bless this multi-talented, brilliant woman.

"Being young is hard" is the wisest thing she's ever said. I am 67 and so much better on all fronts other than physically than I've ever been. But I wish Jane Fonda would realize that a president is not a king, and policy change requires buy-in by a lot of people, and many of those do not care about climate change.
I'm not sure why President Biden signing into law the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 - which includes the largest federal climate change investment in US history (some $391 billion) - somehow doesn't count as addressing climate change. Apparently neither do the other things he's done. Odd.

I enjoyed hearing Jane and Tom in the late 70's in Ithaca when they spoke about the Vietnam War and again in LA where she appeared with women of color fighting for environmental justice in their neighborhoods. I screened Jane's films in my Film Studies classes especially China Syndrome and Coming Home with her powerful acting and also her producing. And she continues her activism through her important work with Firedrill Fridays and climate change issues, including on the front line of protests against pipelines, etc. Thank you Jane for all of it!

I told my daughter a long time ago when she was little 'Growing up is hard - it's the toughest thing you will ever have to do' - Life is not fair to children - I also taught her to EXPECT respect from everyone especially adults; I never wanted her to feel like an adult deserved reverence over her. Children are people and deserve our nurturing and care.
Always respect your elders. Period.

I believe in helping the planet and am concerned about climate change too, but, I think our main concern should be about our country's diplomacy with other countries and especially in our own country because if we can't make peace with one another we will destroy man by war and the climate will not matter anymore.
