If you get off one train to get on another, where do you show your tickets or do you just roam the station freely?
I can answer my own question now lol. Turns out we didn’t need to show anyone anything?!
Last time I was at Preston station, we took train from there to Windermere, took a little holiday at Lake Windermere
If you are changing from one train to the next you do not need to show your tickets to anyone within the station itself, however you may be asked by a guard on your connecting train to present your valid ticket for that journey.
