And you're telling me they're trying to replicate this chemistry? What Tom and John Hillerman had was a rare and beautiful thing. Two talented actors that played off each other perfectly whether it was comedic or straight emotional.
Same deal with James Garner and Noah Beery Jr. on The Rockford Files. Every now and then, Jim Rockford needed a little sage advice from his father, Joseph!!!
I used to watch this wonderful show when I was 12 back in 1982 and now I still find it more than wonderful! Thank you Magnum, thank you Higgins both of you were great. Greetings from Egypt.
This is was good, but to be honest, I don't think that it comes close to the time when Peter Griffin came by with a can of beans and was feeding them and Higgins was jealous over Magnum having more beans than him...🤔
@@mcgannahanskyjellyfetti6854 - are we talking about a Family Guy/Magnum crossover here? That exchange does sound good, but not strictly canon if that's the case...
'Macho Taco' ... 'Burrito Machismo'... Those 80's Mexican foods sounds delicious... Only a man like Thomas Sullivan Magnum would consume such cruise and wash it all down with vintage wine... lol.
Logistically even though they're both Robin's cars I always felt like Higgins took the Audi whenever he had to drive, so Magnum knew to not take it unless it was his only option. On the production side of the show though Magnum probably always took the Ferrari because they were trying to portray him in a debonair way.
"Civilized people must have some sort of standards" you are right Higgins about that because back in the day people were still civilized but today there are no civilized people anymore.
Yes. They are employees of Robin Master's estate, it's part of their "uniform" so to speak. But in Higgin's case, he is Robin Masters, so he's just pretending to be an employee.
2:12 I just love the way John Hillerman (aka Higgins) can break a pencil when her hears that Magnum (Tom Selleck) has stolen the keys to the Ferrari and drive off. Jay Hernandez and Perdita Weeks are great in the CBS (currently NBC) reboot, but Tom and John will always be the best "odd couple" of Magnum & Higgins.
Any chance you could upload the iconic bar fight scene from Resolutions part 2? It was a perfect last adventure for the fantastic foursome of Magnum, Higgins, TC and Rick.
kendall rivers that was a fun scene to watch! Rick disregarding the big trouble he was putting Thomas, TC, and Higgins in with a bunch of testosterone -fueled Strip club patrons at his Bachelor's party he thanked the guys throwing for him.. when actually he was the one who arranged and booked it all himself! Hilarious episode! 😄
@@mr.hannes2057 it was a perfect final scene of the four guys' one last adventure together. I loved how they couldn't take down that one big dude even with a chair lol.
@@kendallrivers1119 I love that scene! So funny watching all of them trying to put away those strip club goons, and then ending up getting ganged up by all of them! I cracked up at the way that big, muscular, mustached dude quickly recovered and started growling at the aghast faces of Thomas, Higgins, and TC! Poor Rick was still knocked out cold on the floor! Truly the best and final outing of the foursome! 😄😁
fine wine does not go with tacos not even the finest cranberry sparkling wine if I had a wine cellar and house of that ilk I would throw the biggest fit if my cranberry wine went missing truth
I stoled my mom's car keys! Did a 18o! In a private Ally, rhe worst part? West palm beach?I was ? Being Taild! Went back home! Facebook. Great car !in These fines suck! Lincoln town car! Took me! More time to push it! Out of the drive way!, Then ! To coast it in!
Honestly, I’m astounded Higgins, in all his intelligence, didn’t see that coming. Better yet, why hide it in the most obvious place imaginable? All those pockets, and he never uses them.
The war between these two were always such great highlights. You won’t see this kind of chemistry in anything anymore.
The greatest tv show of the 80s.
Just brilliant!
The best! Miss this show
Miami Vice!

@@michaelpowell5266 perfect comparison! Love the tight bond of Jim and Rocky and Magnum and Higgins. They were the hearts of their shows.

Greetings from Egypt.
This has got to be the most iconic exchange between Magnum and Higgins... and there are a lot from which to choose!
This is was good, but to be honest, I don't think that it comes close to the time when Peter Griffin came by with a can of beans and was feeding them and Higgins was jealous over Magnum having more beans than him...🤔

Love him...and his class and verbage.
?
I love melot wine , when I can oford it.
It is not Burrito Machismo, but Burrito Machísimo, which is a superlative and has a different meaning.
I love how Magnum goes over and above to drive the Ferrari, and the backup car is an Audi, which is sweet itself
Logistically even though they're both Robin's cars I always felt like Higgins took the Audi whenever he had to drive, so Magnum knew to not take it unless it was his only option. On the production side of the show though Magnum probably always took the Ferrari because they were trying to portray him in a debonair way.
The Audi was too easy to spot when tailing a suspect. The Ferrari was a much less conspicuous car ;)
"Higgins, don't do this terrible thing!" - lol
Love you guys! The whole team!
Oh my god. “Burrito machismo”.( Huggins)...
Magnum... 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Can't believe that Englishman is actually Texan
I can, his accent is terrible.
The accent is okay but it breaks in long sentences
love the interplay of these two
I'm going to have to agree with Higgins here.
I like tacos and wine as much as anyone, but pairing them sounds like a recipe for bad heartburn.
Those burrito Macisimos sound goooooood baby! 😋🧔♂️👍😆😆😊
loved this show. loved loved loved
These TV shows in the 80's were awesome
Great team
Wow! What a team!
No offense, but Higgins got TRICKED on that one right there! 😂😂🤣🤣🤣 That was funny! Yeah Magnum LOL! Hilarious
Higgy Baby is the man
"ohhh my god!" lol.
"Civilized people must have some sort of standards"
you are right Higgins about that because back in the day people were still civilized but today there are no civilized people anymore.
It's processed and factory-farmed Taco Bell paired with high-caffeine high-sugar Monster energy-drinks, nowadays. End Times.
@@c3bhm Lol something to it
They were the best in the 80's💥💥💜💯
Macho taco washed down with wine? How uncivilized!
Fun fact: In the German dub Magnum has the deep voice and Higgins has a much higher pitch.
Does anyone notice they are wearing the same kind of shirt ?
Yes. They are employees of Robin Master's estate, it's part of their "uniform" so to speak. But in Higgin's case, he is Robin Masters, so he's just pretending to be an employee.
It made you laugh and thrilled at the same time

Some things should not be remade. Enough said.
love Magnum's Tigers cap
No one ever thinks to ask John Higgins how Batman The Killing Joke ends, well, there it is.
My wife is a lot like Higgens
love how he revs the Ferrari to rub it in..
So is this where the whole "taco" becoming "quirky" comes from?
" macho taco "
And have a Bueno Nacho Day !!!
Before Sheldon… there was Higgans. 😂

There is only 1 Thompson Magnun
Higgins is the inspiration of the character Katz from Courage the Cowardly Dog
Which episode is this?
Season 3, Episode 18
Forty Years from Sand Island
Magnum PI could easily have ran a few more years. Wish it did.
Aww...Higgins broke his pencil 😏
Hey, Magnum's just the man. Gotta love him.
This is the Magnum I remember. I found myself hoping the new Magnum would hook up with Juliet Higgins and I like it but it’s not the Original.
The reboot does not exist as far as I'm concerned lol. That is NOT Magnum and that is NOT Higgins or Rick and TC.

Higgs was always a jerk
I think Higgins was just mad because Magnum was given more of the can of beans from Peter Griffin than him...🤔
The voice of the Italian dubber is more suited to Magnum... unfortunately his original is not the best

Yeah. If you play only realistic stuff on a TV series, 99% of Magnum wouldn’t happen at all. It’s only entertainment.
What episode is this?
Season 3, Episode 18
Forty Years from Sand Island
