I know the struggle about finding an internship. I am currently in the middle of sending out applications for a software engineering internship. One of the companies said I'll hear from them at the start of May. I really hope I get in 😃 Good luck with your game projects! Your art and animations are beautiful!
i trully love your videos, they motivate me to work on my personal stuff too and the yare my comfort videos now, as a fellow comSci major i would advise you to not let the internship thing get to your head and just keep applying to other places - that is if you really need it, here in country it is mandatory but i don't know about your case - Good luck in your finals:D and can't wait for your game release it seems so cool

Get Unity. Godot is bad and unreal takes longer to learn. Learn object oriented programming and design patterns then learn the engine. You don't really need to make your own art untill the end of game dev
i can explain it more in a future vid :-D! but the basic gist is I reward myself using points that I earn from getting stuff done (hw or things I need a bit of motivation to do like working out lol) and thank you :'-))
