Very limited risk as lead apron, Thyrood shield, lead Goggle ,gonadotropin shield and lead hand gloves are available while you work...Also they will teach you how not to directly come in contact with the primary xray beam.... Scope of interventional radiology is pretty good although neurointervention courses are offered also to Neurosurgeons and neurologist but that is 2 years fellowship course after Mch,DM and the seats in these fellowships are also very less and neurologist and neurosurgeon both are eligible for that fellowship(called neurointerventionist) and they can only do neurointervention but as a radiologist if you do DM in intervention obviously your skill will be better than them plus you can also do non neuro other vascular interventions and non vascular interventions like PTBD, PCN, CT guided biopsies, vacuum assisted biopsies, PCD and obviously the basic interventions that you will learn in MD only(USG guided procedures like TRUS guided biopsy,USG guided biopsies etc)....corporates generally prefer to employ Intervention radiologists more than Neurointerventionist...
Mam just wanted to know, how hard the syllabus is as compared to medicine or surgery, means i heard that one has to study a lot in radiology, or should i opt for dmrd
I realised I am stuck in medicine during my second year….my passion always lied in machines…which is why I would opt radiology because I love to work on new machines and gadgets and I will have less patients to interact with…
@@user-co3nl8go6c noo in corporate and many metro cities DM are saturated many are jobless.. See the blank seats in neet SS... If you want to practice in 2 tier 3 tier cities medicine is best...
By the time india gets smth like that u and me and people who watched this vid will retire and die 🤣🤣 And if even if anything like that happens its going to happen in top cebtral govt hospitals thats all 🤣

Yes and no both… Initially it will be tough but later it will become acceptable level of tough as you get exposed to cross sectional modalities which will help you to make the concepts clear …
@@user-co3nl8go6c bruh I'm in Mumbai and easily radio folks get 3lpm. Those getting 2lpm are on 2lpm+cuts basis. And this isn't even Navi Mumbai, it's proper Mumbai city.
