How does it not help it makes you feel more used to the ball and it also helps you know how to dribble and keep the ball close to you

it's quite frustrating when my shoe choice the last few years has been based on walking, gym and trail running comfort, completely forgotten about how it goes for football, injuries are an arsehole
People should not use this. If you do just be aware, the video tells you to use your toes. If you do so then you will have a much higher risk to injure yourself.
