The max track allows for such a good full body stretch and an endless amount of comfortable positions to just relax in. I was shocked when the chair achieved an inversion therapy position. Definetley worth a visit to Healing Touch to try this amazing massage chair.
The first massage track - The Fujiiryoki automatic massage chair developed by Nobuo Fujimoto in 1954, is best described as a straight track due to being a mechanism aligned to the back of a chair. It did not conform to the natural curvature of the human form and its application was fixed to the proximity of the back. ‘S’ track - As a product of natural evolution, the ‘S’ track added a natural human curvature to the Fujimoto prototype. This configuration allows the massage mechanism to reach from the head to the lower back/upper hip. When a hinge is incorporated between the seat and back a ‘lay flat’ posture is achievable with an enhanced stretch capability. ‘J’ track - The ‘J’ track is an ‘S’ track with an extension beyond the hip. This extends from the lower portion at approximately 135 degrees. The extension allows for massage beyond the upper hip into the glutes while allowing a lay flat posture similar to an ‘S’ track. ‘L’ track and ‘SL’ track - Essentially, all ‘L’ track chairs are ‘SL’ track chairs; the terms are interchangeable and any effort to remove the ‘L’ track term would not be productive. Similar to the ‘J’ track an ‘SL’ track is derived from the ‘S’ track. The added extension is attached with a greater angle, approximately 110 degrees. This extension causes the legs to be lifted placing the knees higher than the heart when the chair is reclined. The achieved posture is referred to as ‘zero gravity’, a posture associated with extreme comfort. ‘Split’ track - This track is essentially an ‘SL’ track mounted to an ‘S’ track chair frame. The normal ‘S’ track hinge is now in a mid track location allowing for ‘SL’ track massage coverage but a ‘lay flat’ posture when the chair is reclined. ‘Dual’ track - The assembly consists of two dedicated tracks with a massage mechanism for each track. ‘Max’ track - The ‘Max’ track is a new mechanism that provides the benefits of both the ‘S’ track and the ‘SL’ track. Similar to a ‘split’ track this mechanism has a hinge, mid track, at the seat to back union; with the extra capability of seat articulation added to the back articulation. The enormous range of articulation allows the ‘Max’ track to achieve both the ‘lay flat' and the ‘zero gravity’ postures. I hope this helps. Thanks for the request.
Having BOTH the S-Track and L-Track functionality is truly the best of both world's! Just one of many reasons why the OHCO M.8 feels so amazing.
Agreed. It's hard to explain the massage sensation in words but it really is one of our favorite massage chair. Thank you!

Back and hip hinges huh?.. No ball joints or anything along those lines, but hinges?.. interesting 🤔
