- Okay Guys! This is a complete remaster of the movie: Duel (1971). I did a video like this a couple months ago, but this is a remastered version of the original, which fixes some mistakes, continuity errors, and missing things that were not present in the original. This took about a month to shoot and edit it all by myself! (wow). So, I hope this was worth my time and your patience :) THX! for over 160k views on the original! (Yall are awesome! :D).

PS: Sorry about the low quality :( This is an 1hr long vid and I did render an HD version of this, but the file size was 42GB!!! :O Unfortunately, I only have 20 mbps wifi, so it would have taken an eternity to upload ;( My only option was to lower the quality a bit from 42GB to 5GB, so I could save time and upload faster. Ok, so I have been some comments of why I am using a dodge coronet, instead of a Plymouth valiant. This is simply because I was unable to find an existing “Plymouth Valiant” mod anywhere.

They have a mod for the actual truck now and I believe they also made a valiant
Nicely done remake, considering the limitations of the game, I saw the original version of this movie when I was a kid, I was born 7 years after the movie was released, I was 8 when I first saw it, in the mid 80s Yes my age is showing here, hehehe. but I remember movies like this fondly, I also remember stephen King's, "Trucks", "Christine", and "The Car", as well as "Maximum Overdrive", a modernized version of "Trucks" where big rigs came to life without drivers, and started killing humans. And let us not forget "Killdozer". a bulldozer possessed by an alien entity, that went on a murderous rampage. A few years later we had a real life version of Killerdozer when a disgruntled muffler shop owner went on a murderous rampage in his local town targeting everyone who he thought had wronged him, in a homemade tank, made from a D12 Bulldozer. you can find the real version of the killdozer story on youtube.
The Truck's jump to its doom is actually better than in the movie, and this is coming from a long time fan

Waow !!!!....je suis un fan absolu du vrai film, et là j'ai cru le revoir !!!! Un travail impressionnant, jusqu'aux plans camera identiques....et avec la vraie musique du film....vraiment bravo !!!!
J'ai vu ce film à sa sortie dans un cinéma en plein air en 1973 . A 8 ans , je l'ai vu avec mes yeux d'enfant et je ne l'ai pas compris comme il le fallait . Aujourd'hui c'est mon film culte . Je suis projectionniste de métier depuis 1986 et j'ai la chance de posséder une copie 35mm de ce film dans ma collection. Je me le projéte régulièrement .
Je ne regarde jamais le Bluray . Une honte d'avoir re_postsynchroniser ce film en 5.1 . Spielberg la tourné en son réel . Il faut le voir avec la piste mono d'origine. ( En 5.1 , ils sont allé jusqu'à remplacer le son du V8 de la Plymouth Valiant par un malheureux 4 cylindres moderne . Heureusement ils n'ont as touché au son du Peterbilt ).....

Idk if that mod was existing back when this was made but you could’ve maybe used the hank b mod. No hate though. This is a masterpiece

Yeah 😅 , I had to use the t series with a rusty skin. Tried to make it look as accurate as possible to the original peterbilt.

The truck’s frame was long, not short.
This. Is. Amazing. This is really really good and I’m impressed, I would like to re-re make it kinda, since this version of beamng drive the T series recently got a remaster, and now beamng has is own desert road map which is perfect for a movie to recreate with, all that and I kinda just want to for fun!

Well you never know, you just never know. You just go along figuring some things don't change ever, like being able to drive on a public highway without someone trying to murder you. And then one stupid thing happens, 20 , 25 minutes out of your whole life, and all the ropes that kept you hanging in there get cut loose. And it's like: there you are, right back in the jungle again.

BeamNG has no character models and mods which feature some are mostly either crash test dummies or a model of The Stig.
On the back of the car you can see it says a Dodge
When the truck was pushing the car it was on fire and it didn’t break.

Carey Loftin was driving the truck, he also moved the gear shifter where truck’s go backward’s,he also the ciff and he hit the brake’s and honked the horn, after that the truck and car went down and got destroyed.

Very Lame totally poor graphics , and no driver in the car lame .
BeamNG has no character models and has more recently experienced graphics updates, however, it is very intensive on the PC which means that, to load more and more objects, you need to make the graphics a bit worse to compensate.
