Shigaraki fought Gigantomachia for almost 2 months straight with minimal sleep, came up with a great plan, fought off Members of the Liberation Army, destroyed Redestro and the city with a single attack after remembering who he was, became a symbol of fear, took the army and their assets, and made sure his comrades were fed well. He is the textbook definition of built different. Absolutely amazing character.

@@JPJgamer nah your lack of understanding is something else. Shigarakis quirk development was foreshadowed as early as chapter 85 and his awakening occurs in chapter 239. The fact that you can sit there and think he got a "hand out" just to keep up with the heroes is laughable.
Hes the main villan of the show in case youve been reading with your eyes closed. Every win deku takes he takes one too. Their respective encounter with stain, their exponential growth after their respective masters retire their position of power, their encounter with better versions of themselves and surpassing them (lemillion/deku, shigaraki/overhaul), their moments when their quirks awakened.
Deku and shigaraki share a 1 to 1 road map of becoming a hero/villan that surpasses the time of old. His growth alongside deku throughout the course of the entire series is what sells this character. If you personally dont like shigaraki, thats fine, nobody is forcing you to like him and im not here to convince you to like him either.
But if you wanna say some bullshit like that, at least back up what you say with facts instead of a clear bias against mha. There is a reason many, including myself, consider shigaraki to be the best new gen antagonist. His points have been made and his actions support the claim. Wether you think otherwise, cool, but your just as delusional as the mha stans if you think shigaraki dosent have an argument for why hes a great villan.
That white hair looks CLEAN on Shigaraki, bones did this episode well.
compared to the standard past seasons and other anime have set, this episode is very poor, especially considering its arguably one of the biggest moments in mha so far, they need to stop making shitty films

@@kaxewdisco3594 most, if not all episodes as big as this one are far better and it's literally not even a debate, go watch them, theres usually not a single bad drawing and tonnes of crazy sakuga (tbf its usually carried by yutaka nakamura but the point stands), even the paranormal liberation front panel was disappointing
@Happy Thoughts I think it had better animation than All Might vs Nomu and Deku/Bakugo vs All Might (S1 and S2 finales). The actual fight might not have been as hype or anything but it was 1:1 with the manga, so don’t blame Bones for that.
Two things.
1: I realize that Kota (the kid from the training arc) would have probably grown up to be like Shigaraki’s father, if it weren’t for meeting Midoriya.
2: This is only the signal fire of probably the craziest arc in this series. I feel like there’s a lot of notable scenes that manga readers are waiting for, and anime only’s will lose their minds over. I can’t wait for everyone to see it. Hope you enjoy.☺️

both killed their family with the random quirk
both coincidentally have white hair and red eyes.
both were taken and raised by a major villain.
difference is eri was saved shiggaraki wasn't.
I'm really looking forward for the entire next season to be the war arc, no bullshit beach episodes included. There's so many characters that shine in that arc that I can't wait to see them getting the spotlight.

The Liberation army does have some really good points about quirks and society. Quirks are so intrinsically part of you that a portion of your personality is affected by them, so if you have the wrong quirk you're just destined to be a criminal. Good examples are La Brava being a stalker, Toga being obsessed with blood, and Shigaraki being obsessed with destruction. I'm also guessing this is why Tokoyami sometimes acts like an edgelord.

Not "destined to be a criminal" lol. Predisposed to certain things. With proper upbringings without judgement all of them could have easily been fine. Shigaraki would make a great demolitions expert. Toga could drink blood consensually from her partners. The society just needs more work on accepting quirks are fundamental parts of people rather than "superpowers" like every story book character has. Telling someone who can fly that they can't without a license is like telling them they can't walk or run.
Liberation is a required part of such a society, the liberation Army just got Destro's message twisted.

Sherra has it. Every. Single. Member. of the LOV. would have been ok if a HERO reached out to them...My Villian Academia shows that Hero Society is a failure as a project. It fails people that don't fit into their mold.
That's just Society in general like people already reject people who don't fit the mold, It's more of a flaw in people than Heroes also It doesn't have a Support system for people who have Twisted Quirks like Shigaraki.

Yeah, just don’t expect too much because the incoming manga material is good but not peak and the anime adaptation has been dropping in quality since last years. I would say that the next arc have better peaks but overall I liked more MVA and you saw how was the adaptation.

They did a great job adapting this Episode. LOVED the citywide Decay scene, they made it much more brutal-looking here than the Manga, because the Manga they didn't have those scenes of it affecting even Shigaraki. But here it shows just how much he was exerting himself in Decaying the entire area.
Also, the Paranormal Liberation Front reveal is TOO CLEAN, I loved that scene in the Manga, and I love it even MORE here with the new League of Villains Theme in the back.

The quirk Decay on the heroes side can be very useful in clearing obstructions in hazardous zone and getting rid of dangerous objects.
The powers aren't inheritly good or bad, it's all about how the owner uses said power.
It could also be used to defend people from solid projectiles or with enough control can be used to quickly disable a villain like what he did to Aizawa in season 1
Toga could be an amazing spy against villain groups. And after her awakening, if she has blood from allies, she's basically Monoma
Redestro's mech thing is a torture device I think to help build his stress.

idk why but I kinda feel like another reason All for One helps Shigaraki is for him to nurture his quirk to the next level like when he spread his decay to things that are not even in his direct contact, o that All for One can take the quirk at its maximum potential. We know that All for One only takes powerful quirks that don't require much effort and skill to control and master. So I think All for One might not only use Shigasaki as his next successor (like Orochimaru and Sasuke situation) but also for obtaining the decay quirk after it becomes much stronger.

I gotta admit, even if i like Shiggy and i'm happy for him. I'm still sad for Re destro, i like him because his fight and his purpose feels real, kinda good. which isn't the case for Shiggy because of that episode. Shiggy feels a little bit like Darth Vader to me, while Re destro gave me Killmonger vibes.

The Lupagan allows one to make a joke and it becoming the truth eventually. The Sheeragan is being able to predict what will happen as if writing the story. Now we just have to wait for Roshi.
What I've learned from watching these reactions is that Lupa is the king of accidental predictions, whereas Sheera is the queen of intentional ones. Jury's still out on Roshi's specialty.

there are those gloves with 3 fingers and so.. at start shigaraki needed 5 finger touch to decay something... so these gloves might have helped and then later after practice (on dummies or building demolishes.. where ppl need rescue) he might have controlled his decay by not activating it automatically.. like he power ups here. so shigaraki's nurture in hero care or rather 'good care', since heroes can be assholes too, shigaraki would have been a good rescue and combat hero
If Shigaraki had someone to teach him to control his power (as a hero) it would be cool if he could choose to only destroy inorganic material. He’d be insanely useful in disaster cleanup scenarios.
