Offshore jacket launching is a method of installation where the jacket is lowered in the water by sliding the jackets into the water.
HITECH DIAPHRAGM CLOSURES aid in providing a seal in the jacket legs due to which the jacket gains extra buoyancy which helps the jacket float. Now the jacket can be towed to the exact desired location and water is flooded in the chamber to upend the jacket.
Once the jacket is set at the desired location piling operation begins.
Piles are lowered to location with the help of HITECH PILE CATCHERS which guide the pile into the jacket leg.
HITECH GROUT SEALS / INFLATABLE GROUT PACKERS are installed at the bottom of thr jacket leg that seals the annulus between the pile and jacket leg. This sealing helps to secure the grout leakage this reducing installation time and cost.
HITECH PILE GRIPPERS are hydraulic gripping devices used to secure the jacket and align the jacket to desired location.
Pile grippers are actuated and its high hydraulic pressure grips the pile driven inside the jacket leg. This operation centers the pile and limits the movement of the jacket which results in better grout connection and adds safety.
