8 yrs old palang ako nyan. I miss my Tatay who passed away last year 🤍
nakakamiss talaga yung 90s..
Hehe! This is my (back then) young generation’s time capsule! Thanks for sharing this… ❤

The Philippines has come a long, long way in 28 years. I hope us Filipinos can appreciate how much we have progressed and be proud of what we have achieved as a nation - from "3rd world" to just a year shy of becoming an "upper middle-income country'.
The Philippines has always been 1st world, not 3rd world. The origin of inception was during the 'Cold War', when 1st world countries are those in alliance with the United States, 2nd world to those for USSR, and 3rd for the neutrals
YOU are not keeping up with the news reports,,are you!!!..
Hopefully at the end of the year we achieve it. So much potentials, the slanderous vlogs like Philippines Truth, are crying an ocean
@@happysolitudetv
If Philippines Truth was not telling the truth you would not be triggered..
Philippines lost ALL hope of being anything but a place where dynastic and elite families make billions from the Filipinos..
Failure began after death of Magsaysay..
RESILIENCE really means NOBODY is going to help you.. You are on your own..
Far too corrupt to be anything else but what it is..
If not for OFWs and foreigners paying for cheap labor at call centers you would still be in the stone age..
@@corkystorky how can you said that we have been 1st world?and beside the term that you use is obsolete and everyone know that we are 3rd world country and it's a fact
TIME TRAVEL SA NAKARAAN. MAS MASAYA DURING 90s.
1996, ndi ko pa nkkta maynila. Yr 2000 first tym ko nakaapak sa manila, 😂 that time, gusto ko ulit umuwe sa prov, nmin. Kc madami sasakyan.😂😂😂 That time im 16 yr old yr 2000. Tnx. Lodi sa mga old video's.❤❤❤😢
8yrs old palang ako neto 1996 hehe.. mga batang 90's
Parang kahapon lang. 1996 High school days ko. Nakakamiss. Sarap umuwi ng Pinas (migrated to the US 2009, hirap bumalik pag may mga anak na hehe).
@@waterlily2839_chua Yeah, I agree. I was born and raised in QC. I remember growing up, some places still had the same atmosphere as shown in that video.
96-2000 are my favorite years in Manila
Worst years
1995 to present ay simula na Ng sobrang traffic SA Edsa, tapos Ang init daily dikit dikit ba Ang Bahay, Ang daming squatter SA floodway and worst thing, dumami Ang building SA Metro Manila. Kaya Worst year yan.
WOW, 1996 ortigas milagro, buhay pa yung old TEKTITE building and yung LUMANG MEGAMALL my childhood!!!! Plus Yung mga TUGTOG den so nostalgic

Problematic ito since most private vehicles only carry 1 person the driver, malaki talaga yung space na inooccupy ng kotse compared to motorcycle. Medyo guilty ako dito kasi most of the time ako lang magisa pumupunta sa office.
Yung problema sa baha hindi din na solusyunan after all those years!
I still dont see myself coming back anytime soon but i want to be buried in our beloved Philippines when time comes.
Was a college sophomore at this time, wow, thanks for sharing this video
Our pleasure!
I first came to live and work in Manila in late 1996! In 2024, I am still living in Manila! I don't think there's another city that has undergone such massive development in the space of 30-odd years.
Wow I was 18 yrs old that time❤❤❤
I miss those days when I don't have to worry about a lot of things. I was around 3 years old in 1996, we were living in Valenzuela back then, it was my hometown.
Tnanks a lot for sharing this to us. I'm glad also you enjoyed the video. Theres more to come!

However much-maligned he is/was, nagkaroon actually ng construction boom nung panahon ni ramos ('90s). Ortigas malls/bldgs, buendia/ssh side of makati, alabang, bgc (the fort), cebu CBD, sta rosa, john hay baguio
Kahit skyway stage 1, mrt/lrt 3, naia t2/t3, mactan cebu airport expansion, cebu 2nd bridge (fernan), panahon nya nagsimula. Also mga flyovers sa roxas blvd at edsa boni tunnel. Subic/clark ecozones, and yes, controversial pea-amari deal (current moa/casino area)
1:02 pwede pa magyosi back then sa loob ng mall
May time machine ang kumuha nito.
Birth year baka inira nako neto
Public transportation napabayaan.
Old Quirino Highway please 🙏🙏🙏🙏

I was a teenager in the '90s. Good times lol
Ah my innocent days, everything was filtered through my pre-formal operational mind (piaget ref), making everything more magical than they actually were.

9 yrs old ako neto 😂
Dati dyaryo ang hawak natin kapag bumibyahe, sakay ng jeep; pampalipas oras sa pagbyahe pero ngayon cellphone na ang hawak ng bawat commuters just to ease the boredom sa pagbyahe araw2 dahil sa sobrang traffic.
Sakin Komiks hahaha
As observation mas maganda na mga kalsada ngayon compare dati at yung business center like ortigas/makati mas maunlad na ngayon at maraming buildings ang hindi lang nakasabay ang Manila City ganun parin makalat parin
4th year high school Ako year na to

❤❤❤
Back then when traffic was getting common in MNL, those were the times when people don’t have to struggle about it!
Thanks! It’s a bit bittersweet, though, to realize that some of the earliest establishments weren’t preserved for the new generation to experience. They were part of the charm and history of the place, but I guess that’s the cost of progress.
I was in my 1st year college in Adamson

There are no better days in governance during Ramos time. High inflation rates, Philippines peso devaluation, exchange rate from 28 pesos a dollar rate to 43 pesos a dollar. Abu sayaf in the south. Terrorists all over the country. Frequent brown outs, metalcor high electricity rates, maynilad water shorted ness despite of heavy rainfalls and flooding. I can go on and on during Ramos term as presidency.
