The intro gave me chills, ever since I was young, well younger I found out that dinosaurs died because of a huge asteroid. Then I watched movies, shows and saw how beautiful our planet looked so beautiful and still does. The dinosaurs lived peacefully (I get they hunted but it was peaceful most of the time) the graphics of this game are outstanding. Great build. You can place fences inside the base of the lagoon. It’s a good way to go around it and hide the fencing. Or the invisible fence from dominion dlc is good too
Thanks so much :) I feel that using fences when you have this concrete barrier is not needed, but I understand that it's good for extra security reasons :D

Hey, great video, i am new to the game and i was wondering how you got dinosaurs inside the lagoon and around it without a hatchery attached, would appreciate a response, thanks again
@@JurassicTom thanks for the reply, i managed to put the ground dinosaurs inside, but how do you put the marine dinosaurs in? Because I can't connect it to a path as it's inside the protected area, do i have to connect it and then delete it again?
@@cobrayt3713 yes, unfortunately, you'll have to connect it to a hatchery, which means you'll have to delete some of the enclosure. Or place the hatchery inside the enclosure and temporarily place another entrance there
I don't know which button curves the path on the console, but once you curve it and put it at an angle, the path should automatically cling onto that angle when you continue it. Hopefully you know what I mean, I'm talking about it at 1:12, I guess it should be the same for both PCs and consoles :) Also, sorry for the late reply, I'm moving tomorrow and time is not my friend at the moment :D but feel free to ask some more if you need help :)
Isn't that lagoon way too small for any marine reptile? I thought they needed much more space. Also would have loved to see where you'd put your viewing galleries... but I must admit, that is one gorgeous enclosure, and you have inspired me to up my game, Sir. :)
Thank you, glad to hear you got some inspiration 🙂 as with any of my builds that I present, the needs for the dinos must be turned off. Realistically, you can put it Ichthyosaurs or Pleasiosaurs, they are small enough that it's believable. As for the viewing galleries, this goes with the logic that normally, the guests would be able to see through the fence 😅 only the game does not accept that for some reason 😅 but you can put viewing towers on the sides, as I did in my Jurassic Waterworld build, if you'd like to check it out, I talk about it in my tour video in the Para enclosure chapter 🙂
So if you use rocks to close the gaps in the fences and keep the dinosaurs from getting out, does the game recognize that? Like, does the game know that the gaps are closed and the dinosaurs aren't a threat? Or will they constantly have the little claw Mark symbol over them because they're considered to be "escaped"?
@@JurassicTom that's awesome! I don't remember if the first game did that, but if it didn't, then this is one of the best gameplay additions to the sequel.
It's basically the same principle I guess, but instead of a lagoon you put down an aviary... but I do have other things coming for aviaries in the future :)
