Finally!!! An easy to follow video that doesn't take you in circles trying to figure out the process. A lot of people do these videos assuming the general public knows what additional apps (who knew I needed anything more than the Instagram app???) Thank you for explaining step by step. UPDATE #2: GOOD NEWS! You DO NOT have to post the hightlight covers to your Instagram story first! Thank goodness Instagram added an option where you can click a button that’ll take you directly to your camera roll to add/edit hightlight covers! Hope this helps! ❤️ If you’re still confused on the latest update, feel free to DM me on Instagram!

I filmed a video using a different app that I'm hoping will be Android user friendly! Please check it out and let me know if it works! I need some help please. I’m doing the exact same thing , but when I add the transparent icon to the background I chose on phonto, I’m not sure why the whole picture show up with the little black and white squares around the icon. What am I doing wrong!

I’m having this problem too. I reinstalled twice and no luck
Mordyfied you have to go into your Instagram settings and save your stories to archive. once your stories start adding to your archive, you will have a highlight feature
Bethany Cousins it’s super weird because the archive feature IS displayed for me, I can see all my stories that I’ve uploaded since December 5th when I look in the archive. But I don’t have the section in my profile for story highlights. Also when I view my story archive, there’s no button at the bottom for creating a highlight group. I think the feature just hasn’t made it to my profile yet, I have some friends who have it and a couple like me who don’t. Oh well... Thanks for trying to help!
