First, most of their songs aren't too fast, which allows me as the editor to line up big impact points really easily, which creates that feeling of the song and video "fitting". Also, most of their lyrics are either epic anthems full of resolve/determination, or songs dealing with relationships the "narrator" is trying to save. I was checking up on recent RWBY created content and I found this video, same name and every thing, uploaded again by 2 separate people. The first is Lawanda Langer, and the second is called Adrianne Redeker I would recommend that you check their other videos to see what else of yours was taken, then file a take down notice for the videos. This has been a bit of a problem lately with some little crap stealing our amvs and such, then uploading them under various alias'. Any way I hope this info helps and it can all be sorted out soon. Hex4life Honestly I've never thought about it before. While a collab is something I might end up doing later on, I really don't have the time to devote to a project like that right now. Between my mountain of requests, my own amv ideas, and a ton of real life stuff heading my way, a collab project is something that's just going to have to wait for now.
Honestly, I don't remember, this was almost two years ago. If I had to guess, probably around 4-5 hours of editing time, spread over a few days. That's only because I was using Movie Maker, so I didn't have all the coloring/text/effects to play with yet, so all I did was basic edits/cuts. There's also the fact that I spend quite a bit of time listening to the song and planning out the structure of a video before I sit down to edit it. I could spend weeks just planning/brainstorming before I actually start to work on it. That way I'm not sitting at the computer thinking "Uh, what do I do now?", instead I'm just transcribing what's in my head.
