she has to focus on so many things at once i dont know how she does it.
1.) keeping her mouth shut
2.) singing (well)
3.) controlling puppet
4.) making facial expressions to the audience/judges
she also does a different voice/singing voice that suits each puppet's "personality" and it's AMAZING.
AND SHE DOES IT ALL IN FRONT OF THAT HUGE AUDIENCE

If you're going to be A ventriloquist and you bring puppets you have to give them their own personality voice not yours voice constantly,
when you use your own voice constantly that signals your A beginner at ventriloquism.

Yes she is definitely amazing. Just regular vantriliquism is hard enough, not to mention the singing, and THEN she can do both those things while changing her voice for each character. Honestly one of the best AGT stars and winners ever.

It's just not possible to compare the talent of this young lady with those who are just singers, Celine and Angelica are both good singers in their own right, but this young lady is a comedienne, a ventriloquist, and a singer, all packaged in a humble young lady. The concentration needed to sing perfectly with her mouth closed, while manovering and making a puppet look real, and at the same time reacting to that puppet, is no small accomplishment, this girl is in a class of her own.
certainly Darci to its scarce 12 years already is an little master of ventriloquismo, by own right!
While Angelica and Celine are great for their age but they still sound like children. When Darci sings she measures up to adults. Darci's stage presence is great I don't know who will win, but I'd go pay to see Darci . I can't wait to see what she dreams up next. Maybe have two of her puppets do a duet. It wouldn't be a first for her.
very true, Darci not only sings like an adult, but also dominates the stage like an adult and a real professional of the music and the spectacle; apart from his gigantic talent, there is much work in she, much preparation!; and for a last publication on her facebook I see that Darci has not given up on her dreams of being a beauty queen, so I would not be surprised in about 6 or 7 years see her as a future Miss Universe candidate and doing ventriloquism
as a follower of classical music for many years, I can say with certainty that the girl Angelica has no opéristic voice, her voice is 100% Pop!; Darci Lynne has a superior voice range, Angelica has power, she sings relatively well, but she sings like a little girl! The only singers "childrens" , who exist and sing with voices mature of adult today, are Angelina Jordan and Amira, and recently Darci !, the rest simply do not !;maybe some do not know that the great Aretha Franklin tried sing opera and did not succeed, one thing is to try and another is to be able , and Angelica does not have that style of voice, Darci Lynne yes!...that! is proven and certified!

she has videos on youtube. long ones with 7mins straight each time a new puppet and all of them better than what she is doing on agt. she isnt showcasing half her talent yet but i guess this is because the time they give them to perform is limited or she is saving it for future rounds

This young lady's act is absolutely on point! This is the 2nd clip I've watched, and for how young she is, and the craft she's chosen, this has to be something she was born to do.
One of the things that impresses me most is how she "multi tasks" during the bit. She literally "removes" herself from the puppet, while simultaneously continuing the performance. She plays to the crowd, reacting to the puppet singing, even though it's her, like there is actually 2 separate beings onstage. Not sure if that's clear, but she is doing way more than just ventriloquism and I'm just floored!

This is INCREDIBLE multitasking and talent. SHe has to move the mouse's head and mouth perfectly, and move the arms, all while singing beautifully with her mouth closed. It is ABSOLUTELY STUNNING. She is so amazing

I got so scared when the puppet said, "I got a problem". I got chills.
I love it at 2:30 when Oscar belts the "I can do" high notes and Mel B has the look of satisfaction on her face like "yeah I gave the right golden buzzer alright".
Darci Lynne is an extraordinary talent. There are other talented people on the show but who else is a top-tier talent as a singer AND a ventriloquist?

Singers have won 6 out of 11 seasons of agt, the most by far. Ventriloquists have won two, which is the second most. So she, a singing ventriloquist, should win by a landslide.

Her talent is incomparable. A league of her own.
She's doing everything perfectly from the singing to the deliverance of the comedy. She's clearly such a talented ventriloquist that she can just do that and instead spend her focus on getting everything else right AND SHE DOES! And it's not just impressive because of her age. Honestly had it been some 30-year old who'd done this their entire life I would still have been awestruck. Darci might actually be the most talented person I have ever seen (at least showbizz talented)!!

I think that it's amazing how she can add a raspy sound to certain parts of the song. It gives more soul to the song. When most people do like that. It messes with their throat. Only someone with actual singing capabilities and skill can do that.
