Omg Elton!! “Bennie and the Jets” “Rocketman” “Tiny Dancer” “your song” “goodbye yellow brick road” this is a rabbit hole ♥️
All excellent choices., Daniel & Someone saved my life tonight
2 of my kitties are named Benny and Jet after this song- one is gray and one is black- ❤️❤️
“Your Song” is great by Elton John
Empty Garden. Guess Why They Call It The Blues.
All sooooo good.
He had survived a suicide attempt, drug abuse and the flattening of his career. Coming into the 8o's, he was letting us know he was still here. Hence, I'm Still Standing.
Yes!! 👏🏻👏🏻 ‘I Guess That’s Why They Call It The Blues’ by Elton John is another good one!🔥
That gave me goose bumps just remembering the melody
Amazing song ,seems like it was just a short time ago it came out ...blink of a eye the time went by
@@becks7394 seriously it does
Tiny Dancer is a fantastic song by anyone’s standards, well worth a listen
Yep ❤️
Great song about holding Tony Danza.
The best song of Elton John in my opinion is "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road". You should react to it, it is a mastepiece.
Completely agree 👍
Omg I love it so much
100%. Followed by Daniel.
That's my favourite Elton John song.
I too would like to see you react to that song. You will get no peace until you do lol
The next thing you got to check out by Elton John is Your Song, Bennie and the Jets, I Guess That’s Why They Call It The Blues
Not the live version.
@@kierstenridgway4634 bruh the live versions are better
@@ish9506 not always with Elton.
@@kierstenridgway4634 yeah, maybe in ‘89
Living legend. This should be a 2020 theme song.
I agree!!! Lol!!!
Agreed. I even made the same comment
Omg! Yes!
It became my anthem as from March 2020, bloody mask we use
Brah
Listen to his song Philadelphia Freedom and his duet Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me with George Michael.
Philadelphia Freedom was the jam!!! That song STILL bangs!!
Yeah! Both.
Yes!!!
Couldnt agree with you more on the duet with Elton and the Late Great George Michael of Dont let the sun go down on me...from the first line....its game over...ur hooked
Finally some Elton! Funeral for a Friend/Love Lies Bleeding and Someone Saved My Life Tonight are a must!
This^^^
Why is this song often the first reaction for Elton? This was so late in his career, like his second "comeback" or something. Maybe we should make a theme out of it, and do "The Bitch is Back" next. ;)
😂😂😂😂 Perfect. Agree!
It's because most of his content gets blocked and a lot of reactors view other reactor's playlists to avoid blocks and the 3 strike rule
I love The Bitch is Back!
@@jamesburr5826 absolutely true! I don’t know how many times I’ll see my favorite song covered by a reactor, then all of a sudden there it is all over the place!
Because it’s his best song
You need to rewind to early 70’s Elton....”Madman Across the Water” would be a great start....
Or Tumbleweed Connection, with "Burn Down the Mission" or "Where to Now St. Peter"
Pretty much greatness on all of Madman and Tumbleweed.... I'd like to add the Elton John album of 60 Years On and All the way back to the beginning album Empty Sky. Empty Sky is so raw and a real rocker!!!
Yup that’s the best
It took me about 5 minutes to find someone suggest Madman.. underrated album
“Bennie and the Jets” is my favourite from him.
It's fire!
I can also see Jay dancing like a madman while spit taking the B-b-b......
G'Day, Eh!!! TINY DANCER, is the bomb!
Best thing about the song "I'm Still Standing" is that it was empowering for Elton too because he had come out alive after finishing his rehab. Love Elton John's music though, enjoy the rabbit hole buddy. If your still curious about the song it was also featured in the movie "Sing" that had the animal talent show.
Check out his video with George Michael- Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me. Beautiful song!
OH YESSSS!!!! I've been waiting for Elton John and I'm still standing isn't even close to his best.
Many artists from the 60s and 70s had a hard time transitioning in the 80s and 90 s. This is one of his come back songs. Someone saved my life tonight had the same feel.
Tiny Dancer, Benny and The Jets.
Oh, Elton stylin like no one else brother. You'll be inspired by his outfits without DOUBT.
His version of”Lucy in the sky with diamonds” and “Crocodile Rock” please!! They got some real grooviness to them- 🤎🤍✌️✨
the song: SATURDAY NIGHTS ALRIGHT FOR FIGHTING. the singer Elton John. Kick his ass
Your awesome! Just a thought, it’s old but a classic.. Elton John, “crocodile rock” you would have good moves! 😉
Love this one!! Fun fact: One of the dancers is Bruno Tonioli, one of the judges on Strictly Come Dancing and Dancing with the Stars
Thanks was going to comment you beat me to it!!!🤣✌️❤️
Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! "Don't go breaking my heart" "Circle of Life" "Don't let the sun go down on me" Candle in the wind"
Oh yeah. If you have seen the Lion King he wrote all the music (and sang a lot of it)
Really? First Elton John reaction for ya? Theres so many to choose from. I remember this from MTV. I like his earlier work like Goodbye Yellow Brick Road and Bennie And The Jets. Good job!❤
Bennie and the jets! That one gets cranked up to 11 anytime it comes on!
I'd like to introduce you to Elton's Yellow Brick Road album. It is a masterpiece, I still have my original album. 🦋✌🦋
Yes!!!!!!!
I remember saving my money to get the double cassettes at a long gone store called Grants. $12. Great album. My favorite is “Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy”. And I’m probably one of the few who loves Blue Moves (“Sorry Seems to Be the Hardest Word”). 💜💜💜
@@Jillyconjem same here, I just couldn't get enough of Elton John,, still listening to him nearly everyday.
@@sallyramirez5980 He was my piano hero. I played for years, but I wasn’t allowed to play popular music. Only classical. EJ was my hero. 💜💜💜
@@Jillyconjem such an amazing artist and man. 💖💖💖
Elton John, "Philadelphia Freedom," "Saturday Nights Alright" and "Empty Garden."
I thought he was still standing as in persevering in adversity
He's a musical genius. Try all the girls love Alice . Anything from Elton really. Maybe you heard this song from the animated film Sing?
Tender young Alice, they say.....I love that song!
I went to his concert in Sydney. :3 Uplifting stuff, he's a vibrant guy. "I Guess That's Why They Call It The Blues" and "Rocket Man" are my favs.
If you could only see his collection of glasses Mr. V!!! They are an Elton staple! Iconic! 🤎🤍✌️✨
Early in his career he wore some flamboyant outfits and always the crazy glasses.
Best example is when he was on the muppet show
“Lucy in the sky with diamonds” and “Crocodile Rock” please!! 🤎🤍✌️✨
Early MTV, the perfect marriage of poppy song and happy visuals.
Check out the movie Rocketman. His life story.
@Lesley Debelloy it was
I haven’t seen it yet, but I’ve heard there are some timeline discrepancies, but it’s still really good.
@@Jillyconjem it wasn’t done in timeline form as far as his discography goes. He used the music to kinda narrate the story and so used it more for moving the movie instead of following it as he wrote and performed them.
This was the 80s and he was starting to be fully open about his sexuality (hence the homoerotic nature of this video). Check out his 70s catalog. Lots of great suggestions on here.
The One... Nikita....I Guess That’s Why They Call it the Blues....
The One is *such* an underrated gem!!
Want to have the feels? Check out Elton's tribute to his late friend John Lennon, "Empty Garden"
Love that song!!!
I didn't know it was about John Lennon, but it was a beautiful song.
Love this! 💜💜💜
"RIP Out Your Heart and Smear it On the WALL" Song! 💕I love it💕
Not crazy about this song. Candles in the Wind by Elton- a song about Marilyn Monroe. One of the best he wrote.
You and I are complete opposites! I love this song, but am not really crazy about Candle in the Wind.
I think the version he rewrote for Princess Diana is so much better. Feels more personal since he actually knew her.
@@sannaolsson9106 True
Then the English Rose version for Princess Diana😢 bc they were friends
@@sannaolsson9106 I can barely even think of his performance at her funeral, it's still gut wrenching. 💔
Elton John - Tiny Dancer or Your Song ❤️.
I was 14 when "Goodbye Yellowbrick Road" came out and I discovered Elton John. Elton was EVERYTHING to me for quite a while. So many great songs......
This ISN'T one of them.
You know Elton invented Sunglasses. Not really but he made them outrageous. lol
YES!!!!! Bennie and the Jets, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, Daniel; Someone Saved My Life tonight;
So many GREATS by Elton John!!
Elton John's career has been epic he started in the seventies and is still touring. He has two very different vibes the upbeat and the sad. Upbeat songs, try
Crocodile Rock
Bernie and the Jets
Passengers
Sad songs try:
Sacrifice
Daniel
Candle in the Wind
The rabbit hole goes deeper than you could even imagine. Good luck, lol
"Levon" is My FAVORITE Elton John song, even though there is a Line that NEVER Fails to CHOKE Me Up(and the song came out when I was 3!)💕Sir Elton is an ICON and a Humble Humanitarian.
Elton started his AIDS Foundation in Memory of Freddie Mercury (and Ryan White, who was 13 when he was Infected through a blood transfusion) the year after Freddie died. I heard somewhere YEARS Ago that Elton donates ALL of His Personal Profit from US sales to the Foundation. As of last year, this Foundation has raised +$300 million.
I cant think of a single song I don't like from Elton John.
Seen him a couple yrs ago..bucket list concert!!
I've been lucky enough to see him live 3 times & had tix to see him again then covid came. The first time my husband surprised me with tickets to see him at MSG on our trip to NYC. One of the best days of my life! I was in Heaven!
I'm sure it's already been said, but funeral for a friend/love lies bleeding is a good one. The first half is an instrumental that goes into the song. Whole Goodbye Yellow Brick Road album is worth a listen. Bennie and the Jets is another fave.
This song was in the movie SING. Where the gorilla gets on stage.
I didn't expect to like that movie but it was fun.
The gorilla who sang it, also played Elton John in the movie Rocket Man, and also was the Main in both Kingsman movies (Elton John was in part 2)
80's videos motto should've been the more bizarre the better. I love and miss the 80's! LoL. But ya remember them!
@@jamessmithjr6788 That guy's name is Taron Egerton
The little kid was last minute, they just found him out of the crowd (I could be wrong where they found him). Elton said that this was his favorite video to do, of course he was totally pissed at the time too. Elton doesn’t like doing videos, check out Mona Lisa and Mad Hatters, he’s also sober now Cheers to him and everyone that is sober now, takes courage.🤗
“Burn Down the Mission”, Levon, “Saturday Night’s Alright (for Fighting)”. Early stuff is best!
My kiddo loves this song in that kid animated movie “Sing!”
"Saturday Night's Alright (For Fighting)", "Bennie and The Jets", "Crocodile Rock", "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road", or my personal faves "Rocketman" and "Tiny Dancer" all are recommended from Sir Elton
Saturday Night's (alright for fighting) is one I'm not seeing mentioned but it rocks pretty hard!
One of the newest Gorillaz songs has Sir Elton in it. Super good. Called “The Pink Phantom” I believe.
Oh Holy Shite, I'm beyond excited about this your travels down this particular rabbit hole. Got me feeling like Alice in Wonderland at Christmas. 'Twill be a grand adventure, Leo!
This was my son's song after he beat cancer 3 times. I love this because of him. It's a wonderful memory of him singing this coming out of the hospital.
Arrested Development: Mr Wendel.
I'm all over the place.
AWESOME SONG !
I'm not a huge of elton John.. but no one can deny he's had a long musical career and has had a great impact on music. From early days of flash and bang stuff.. to "Candle in the Wind" (this is my favorite personally) and the lion King movies.. if you start to check out his stuff you'll have tons of stuff.
This is my divorce anthem from my abusive ex. Every time I have to face him in court, I blare it loudly when courts over. I had court yesterday and you better believe it was on repeat!! . Love, love, love it!!!
Congrats on taking your life back 💪👍👏💃❣️
goofy
Take Me To The Pilot & The B*tch is Back! Two super fun Elton songs!!!

"Rocket Man" is 🔥🔥🔥🔥 also "Bennie & the Jets" YOU WILL LOVE IT.
Please do "ON Kinetic Manifesto" by BTS 🦋🦋🦋
My favorite *Sir* Elton John song! He was knighted by The Queen in 1988 for contributions to music and charitable services.
He's made an entire career on the words "what did I just watch?"
LOVE HIM~
Other people will give you enough requests without me doing it as well, enjoy your journey with Elton John, one day you will make it to Marc Broussard and Allen stone
OOOOOOKKKK! This is a major rabbit hole, the songs, the outfits, he’s legendary!!! ENJOY!☮️❤️
Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me!!! There's one with George Michael & Elton but both are awesome!!! It's my favorite Elton John song!!!
This is the theme song for 2020.
Elton John definitely has a big rabbit hole and is most definitely worth exploring. So many hits and amazing songs
Everyone has named all the Elton John songs, though I think you need to get some Prince in you life as well, he's way after this lovely man!
"I wanna be your lover", "gold" , "The beautiful ones" and "Darling Nikki". Prince is a beauty just like this Love!
Random fact he was called Reg Dwight before Elton John 🙂.
😲
I met Elton John when I was 5 years old. He put me on stage next to him at DTE. Wildest shit ever
Your boy Freddie Mercury was a close friend of Elton. Freddie had an accident and his leg was in a cast, he went to one of Elton’s concerts and Elton sang “I’m still standing” while grinning at Freddie 😁
one of my favorite Elton John songs is Levon. Doesn't hurt that my man's name is Levon lol
bro u should check out ELTON JOHN & ALEX ROSE - BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY (FREDDIE MERCURY TRIBUTE CONCERT)
"he got a lotta glasses" just what i needed
"Rocketman," "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road," "That's Why They Call it the Blues," "Candle in the Wind"--for starters!
" I don't know where I heard this before...maybe in the grocery store"...I giggled my ass off thru the rest of the video...
His cover of Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds by The Beatles is the best cover ever 🔥.
I'm gonna recommend one that everyone seems to have forgotten about in the comments.
Elton John - "Sacrifice"
Powerful song..
this guy has a bunch of bangers. he used to party to say the least
Elton John - Crocodile Rock!! Was the first song back in the 70's that really made me like his music, also check out - Goodbye Yellow Brick Road - Bennie and the Jets - Rocketman
Out of the 350+ shows I have been to, Sir Elton was the only one I went to alone! I could only afford one ticket and I wouldn’t have missed it for ANYTHING ❤️
Looking foward to this Elton John rabbit hole. Also some Cat Stevens would be awesome.
Now, you’re going to have many many Elton John requests in this comment string. I say react to them all since you really can’t go wrong. But if you wanna switch it up, my request is for you to react to Colt Ford- Hip Hop in a Honky Tonk. 🤠
Elton john is a legend bro he has great music🔥🎶
You need a vacation from the cold. I suggest Kokomo by The Beach Boys for a feel good summer vibe.
Yes, more Elton! 😃
Yay!! Elton!! "Rocketman" Peace & Love Nelly in Toronto
Elton is Rock/Pop Royalty! He actually sang this on t.v. Earlier this year on that National concert they did on t.v. For Covid. It was artists on tv from their homes performing. Elton is a great hole to go down love all his stuff!
"Idk where I've heard this, maybe at a grocery store or something" I was dying my dude lmao Elton John; he is magical. Perfect songwriter, amazing musician! I like "Saturday Nights Alright" and "Your Song"
OMG he's a LEGEND! So many hits! Tiny Dancer, Rocket Man, Someone Saved My Life Tonight and Goodbye Yellow Brick Road are just a few! And that doesn't even include Candle in the Wind which he originally wrote in honor of Marilyn Monroe but when Princess Diana died he also honored it to her or however you'd say that!
Classically trained then became rock/pop giant, many, many hits. One of top all time sales.
I like this song, I don't listen to much of him but he's been around for years. .👍👍. 🤔🤔 For u. 👏👏♥️
I am so happy you discovered Sir Elton! This really is a deep rabbit hole, and you can't go wrong with whatever you listen to. My personal favorite is "I Guess That's Why They Call It the Blues" because I first heard it as a little kid and would walk around singing it because I loved the melody, but I had no idea until I was much older what the lyrics really meant. Elton writes the music, and his partner, Bernie Taupin, writes most of the lyrics. Try "Your Song," "Tiny Dancer," "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road," "Candle in the Wind," "Funeral for a Friend/Love Lies Bleeding," "Mona Lisas and Mad Hatters," "Border Song," "Levon," well... just about anything. Like I said, Elton doesn't have a bad song. And not only that, but he's a great humanitarian who's raised millions for AIDS research.
Yep, Elton John is a cheeky guy! :D
One guy, one piano, a creative mind and a whole lot of talent
I got very lucky seeing him live for his final tour. Despite his age, there was still such magic watching him perform
OMG What a rabbit hole you found. Goodbye Yellow Brick, Someone Saved My Life Tonight, Bennie And The Jets, Rocketman, Your Song, Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me, and on and on and on. So many more hits. One of the GOATS.
He sings The way you look tonight and so many more. He is a Legend!!
