This show aired in the US in syndication from 9/14/81-4/23/82. The Canadian airing here is from September 1981, since the end date of the sale at Miracle Mart is 9/26/1981.
She went on to a successful career as an operatic soprano, and currently directs a children's choir for a Los Angeles megachurch...also very nice, and amazed that so many people remember SPC after all these years. Oh, and Art also spoke highly of his former cohost during a 1998 phone interview!
I prefer SPC...having only two players and 16 cards on the board meant that gameplay was usually much tighter than the original, and definitely a better bonus round!

Thanks so much for sharing...nice to see another episode surface!
I remember the original Pay Cards game from 1969 that was rerun on WNEW TV Channel 5. Even had the home game.
kurokawa kokujin akihito!
If you ever saw Mo Collins as Jenny Jones on MAD TV .... MARY LOU BASARABA is a perfect match in her voice
Does anyone have any information about Mary Lou?

The theme music gets me hyper.
Great smile on susan...no smile on her opponent...lol
CTV network ID at the end...September is Parents' Viewing Month!
How come the rest of Susanne's family and friends didn't run on stage?
Viewers, which Pay Cards do you like better, this one or the original from 1969?
Judgment call, since the play is the same except for less players and less cards in Super

Definitely spc, it moved a little faster, better bonus round and more money.
This looks fun, it should've lasted longer.
16:27 that joker looks funny
Yeah, I always liked the jokers, and the little "boing" that accompanied their reveal was also a nice touch!
Who knew a pair could win a round?
that is after she won the 1st 2 rounds
She didn’t win the round, but she won the game due to her huge lead.
You, Susana, left with $5,420 in cash & prizes.
007 you are very lucky
anpanman!
WOW
11:50 Susan got $250 in round 2 you can't earn any more in the 1st 2 rounds
Unless they play 2 3 4 5, you can get 5 of a kind in that for a $300 payout plus $50 for high hand.
