The fact that one of the winning outcomes is just getting a patient to hospice is… a bit too real 😅
Edit: oof, reading the patient bios was also rough. I’m assuming this is a game “based” in the US, because repeatedly ending up in the ER for asthma is unreasonable! Poor Marley!
yep, as an asthmatic in the States who literally almost died from it, I can attest to this one.
Drawing cards to determine available treatments explains a lot about the medical system.
32:59 I'm sorry, but I burst into laughter when Naveen said "Wish me inflammation" 😅
🤣
Awesome playthough, you made the game quite easy to understand. 🙂 Can't wait for this KS to fufill this year!
Glad I backed this one! It actually looks ..real..but fun.
I understand the game but it is strange to hear you say “ let’s remove a brain”
“That will be good “
Love it- such an amazing game. Poor Allison with cardiac myopathy- but you stabilized her. Good part with this game is that you can contribute to treat each others patient.
This game looks really interesting! Great playthrough!
Great play through! And really, could you have had a more perfect combo of content creators/game players??? Highly doubt it! Just hearing the medical terminology tripping off your tongues with ease made for a very engaging watch. I just may have to break my "no new games for 2024" self-imposed ban! 🤩
Yeah, Omari's also a very talented up-and-coming designer, imho
Thanks for the teach :) Looks like a really well-done and thematic version of Pandemic. Any idea when this will be hitting retail? Thank you.
"you're going to sacrifice the intern?"... "yeah!..well..." 😆
Can you do a video on the game Blast Tactics next?
I like this one. I need to say that I miss heavy crunchy euro with medical/healthcare theme. Is there any?
Clinic [Deluxe Edition] designed by Alban Viard
I will say, for so much accuracy, the times on these are quite off. 9 hours for a lumbar puncture is very funny (our unit did it in 45 minutes to an hour) . I did enjoy it, even if it might be too real to bring to the table (Marley is going to be drowning in medical debt for the rest of her life with no/poor insurance during an ICU stay)
45 min to an hour? I remember doing them as an intern almost 20 years ago and taking less than 15 minutes… Are there some crazy long safety protocols in place now or something?
@@Vypper7 That is just how much time we budgeted to allow for the patients who need Ativan, the post-procedure brief, and the amount of overlapping appointments that were scheduled. It would actually get done in very little time.
@@LifeUntilLove ah, mine were done on overnight shifts on call as a medical intern, supervised by the ED attending, just grab the kit and go ! Different than when scheduled as outpatient, makes sense. Now they are done by the neurologists where I work.
It looks like I am so early there are no klingon subs.
At the start of Wednesday, Allie no longer had the conditions for her TIA - does it still trigger or should that card have been "cured" because she didn't have the blood or brain issues?
Once you get a complication, it stays in play until something actively removes it, even if the underlying injury that allowed it to happen is resolved. In real life, this is kind of like if you give someone medications that make them confused and they choke and get lung injury (aspiration). Even when the medications wear off and they're totally lucid, they still have the lung injury. Thank you!
Would love to see a game where things go badly.
Me writing down all this invaluable medical advice 😉
haha, I loved Monique's disclaimer... once a nurse, always a nurse!
🙂👍
Performing brain surgery is likely easier than learning to play this game.
game reviews please.
with scores out of 10.
It’s a sponsored video so they will not offer a review. Wouldn’t be right to review paid content.
its a sponsored video. it wouldn't be ethical.
@@ImaginEric The Dice Tower and all other channels do it all the time. I just think we need some sort of opinion in stead of just hours and hours of games being played on camera.
@@GlennDeBlock Please cite where the Dice Tower offers a review for a game on a video paid for by the publisher.
@@GlennDeBlock I mean to each their own a lot of people are fine with just a bunch of gameplay
It would be nice to have a third person playing with you, who is not into board gaming like a kid, or a senior.
Naaah... 😒
I would find it nice to have a 3rd person who is into board gaming to join you.
Can be a kid, teen, young adult or adult.
This is Michael erasure. How dare you.
@@marktan6427 this is good as well( but without teens would be nicer) as long as it encourages novelty in the channel
