BDK Vanille Leather has a chokehold on me. It’s extremely beautiful and wearable. Finding myself getting weary of gourmands 🤷🏼♀️ so it’s the perfect alternative. I have the Lattafa too, and agree 100%. You’ve piqued my interest in RM 1970 😳 Excellent list!

I am from the middle east and my first language is Arabic, unfortunately you will never get the correct pronunciation of the Arabic names and here is the reason, there is few letters in Arabic doesn’t have any similarities in any other language, they always put a (‘) or (h) instead of them, so don’t worry your fine 😅
Iam from Hungary and is one of the most dificult to pronounce. I think is not a big deal. If is not your First language never gona be perfect. 🌺

L'amour eternel is just magical. I went to the Maissa shop this July planning to buy Princesse de Galles, and ended up leaving with 2 bottles of l'amour eternel. I forgot everything else as soon as the sales rep put it under my nose. The opening is the perfect blend of yellow fruits, and the caramely, musky dry down on my skin is even better.

Hey Anne! Love your videos so much. I think it would be helpful to leave the perfume name on the screen the whole time you’re talking about it. So many times I listen while I clean and I look up to see which one it is and I have to rewind. Just a lil tip ❤❤
Guidance was love at first whiff for me and my first experience (and purchase) from Amouage. It quickly shot to my top three of all time. It's definitely the beast-iest fragrance I own. I can still smell it on clothes 2 days later.

Oooh I share most of these faves! Especially Guidance and Ambrosia Imperiale - they blew my mind! Such a good year! 🎉 I’m still patiently waiting on my Honor & Glory to transform a bit - I was intrigued right out of the box but got so much musk and little sweetness/depth. Can’t wait to smell it again in a few weeks

Amouage Guidance is the last big-time fragrance I have bought as I am now only wearing fragrances from my own collection and not buying any new perfumes. I would love to have some of the others you mentioned as I have sampled some of them but must refrain from buying. These days I am wearing lots of vintage perfumes that I have had for a long time, but they still smell great and are longer lasting than the newer ones. I still enjoy watching your videos even though I cannot buy anything. However, I am finally wearing perfumes I have owned for a long time, but I do still enjoy all of your videos. Happy 2024…maybe I will be able to purchase the perfume I really want, which is Rosendo Mateu’s 1970. Thank you for your video, and you look fantastic!

I’m glad you liked Honor and Glory and also Althaïr 😀 I got it on the day of release cause I was Bloomingdale’s and I saw it as a new release and I asked to sample it on skin. Left the store and walked around the mall and I kept sniffing my arm and got compliments from it. Went home and I couldn’t stop sniffing it, went back to the store after 20 mins and bought a bottle 😂😂 😂 it’s beautiful! Wasn’t surprised it was ScentXplore’s perfume of the year. Hamid MK did well❤

The way you described the needle like look to pineapple under a microscope is the perfect way to describe ANOTHER pineapple forward fragrance I sampled called Mile High by Parle Moi de parfum. I ended up not being a fan because It felt like that when I smelled it 😂
That being said, I do think if you’re a fan of pineapple, it’s a must try 🥰

Lol 😂 For me it has a strong opening and gives me a headache. My young daughter loves it so much I gifted it to her and it’s quickly becoming her signature scent. So my search continues. But thank you so much I appreciate the recommendation ❤️

When you were describing Lattafa Bade’e Al Oud Honor & Glory, I could not help but think of Kajal Lamar. I wonder how they compare! Lamar is one of my favourites and it opened my eyes (nose?) to the idea that I could really love pineapple in a fragrance, though I do find it's more of a 'roasted pineapple'.
Although they both have pineapple, they’re incrediblyy different!

I want to smell like a vanilla milkshake. Light on the vanilla, heavy on the milk.
I was hardcore onboard the hype train for Althaïr for months and I bought a bottle the same day it launched. After months of wearing it and wanting to love it, I found that it just wasn’t right for me. I found the orange blossom in the opening to be too synthetic and cloying sweet, and while I enjoyed the latter stages, it wasn’t enough to get me past the opening. I ended up selling my bottle. Lesson learned, always sample first! Very excited to hear your thoughts on it. :)

Great video. Vanilla 28 and Silk Santal are my two favorites from the brand as well. Unfortunately I’ve only been able to sample Silk Santal because I waited too long to try them and it’s sold out… so I’m so happy for 2024 😊

🥹❤️ Thank you! BoraBora has more thick tropical florals, it's more creamy, more dense. The sweetness is also done differently because of the apricot, caramel, and jasmolactone.
Ylang in Gold comes across more ethereal, and has a slight bit of a banana like undertone :)

The pronunciation is /bædiː/ honey. The word has come to Persian from Arabic and in Persian it means "new". I guess it means the same in Arabic. It should mean "the new oud" :)

Lots of loves on here! I side eye orange blossom, but yeah it's tastefully done in Althair. And I'm sucker for cardamom. Siwa @anotherscent_ recommended layering it with Babycat, and that combo is FIRE. Also loving RM1970 lately, and have a sample of Vanilla Leather on the way! ❤
