Thank you for the hard work and money spent to help us be able to pick from the growing line of bulbs out there. You’ve helped me narrow down the search for my Science Shows.
I appreciate the reviews. Locating these is frustrating....the Chinese need to put a Name on these bulbs (any name) as a way to identify them. Also, the 4 mode needs to be activated via a switch on the bulb - I would like to use for an outdoor sconce which is on a timer & I don't want the light being on a different mode everyday.
Thanks for all of your time spent on these reviews, Dan! Have you tried using 2 of the LAKES brand bulbs simultaneously? I'm trying to figure out if they flicker randomly/independently of each other, since I plan on using them in a series of pumpkins come Halloween. I don't want all of the pumpkins flickering too obviously in the same pattern.
Why can't some of them be used upside down? Is it that the effect will look wrong, or they actually won't function? Personally I'd look for one with a single setting-as not to have to mess with it all the time-and that could be used in any orientation!
Great Reviews I'm going to try the 2pk Blue rimmed ones and the one you list as Moderately good which I believe you said was the dimmest and had a good flame effect and wasn't flippable. Thanks for the reviews, how about you try the blue flame LED'S in you next review?
@@dspiffy The Blue flame is kind of a cool looking effect, might be good for a Dungeon like environment. I would assume the Blue might be less bright and creates a "Cool" color rather than a warm color. I'll look forward to your opinions on those.

I'm going to test blue ones next, upon request
Wish you could of said witch brand they were instead of this or that one. Guess I’ll fined another vid
If you know how to read, they are detailed in the description.

Good vid - I think, honestly i was totally distracted by the organ in the background - is it a B-3, A-100 Hammond?
A100
All of my outdoor fixtures have timers and dimmers. Will any of these work?
Timers, yes. Dimmers, no.
Are any of these bulbs UL labeled? Are they all Edison screw base? If not do you know where to get bulbs with that criteria?
I believe they all are
What the the brand names of the bulbs from right to left?
It's all in the description. Left: LAKES LED. Center left: 'slitinto'. Center right: YIZCO. Right: CPPSLEE. Links are in the description.

I think they are different enough

They will work but the flame will be upside down. Some of them have gravity sensors so when you flip them, the flame stays upright.

But will it matter if the glass is frosted?

I didnt know they made blue ones. Why would someone want blue?

If a company sends me some I will review. I have no personal use for blue.
Which one is on the far right? Yellow is what I want; all the ones I've had are too orange for me.
Far right is still pretty orange. The Codiac one is the most yellow.
You can also search Amazon by color temperature
I bought the hudson... and man you can see the LEDS way too easily. its super orange too...
Which one is the Hudson?

Turn your volume up.
@@dspiffy it's full blast bud. I'll wear headphones no worries
@@dspiffy just bought them on Amazon. There's a new one with a blue flame, I was curious but didn't order it.
