This figure is a great figure using the same mold of the lighting eyes Lion-O version man... Since it's using the same mold, that's why you see that tip in his waist since the new ultimates version coming up comes with all the extra claw shields etc...😃💡☕️👍
Yeah I'm loving him. And I can't wait for more of these cartoon versions to hit the deluxe line up. And I was thinking that was the mold they used. Good to know. Thanks sir.
Looks like a solid figure for the price. It definitely harkens back to the original LJN figure. Looking forward to picking him up and whatever other Thundercats they will release in the future
I just wanted to inform you that people are finding the biceps are put on wrong at the factory so you might want to check because that might be the reason you think that it's different from the 1st it should be the same just heat it up and change the left to right and vice versa
I've picked up the deluxe conan iconic post and am very happy with it. Especially as the original one is so expensive now. Seems to be a straight copy of the ultimates one.
His biceps are is reverse, sadly this is an issue that every Lion-O in this line has. You can see that from the promotional photos, and also from the first edition Lion-O. I think it is an easy fix with some hot water.
Greetings. I'm thinking about buying this León O figure but I'm not convinced. Is it really worth it? How is the paint and the quality of the plastic? I have read comments from people who say that the plastic looks very fragile, and that the joints on their arms have problems, is this true? Since having it in your hand is not the same as looking at the figure of Lion O through a photo or video.
I think this figure looks very cool with this new mold which is the same one of the lighting eyes version we have on preorder... I need to get itvwhen Ivseebit at my local Target. I have two of their original Lion-O and I was complaining myself on how the face was looking more comic version than cartoon version and finally we are getting it. So awesome. I can't wait tovsee more ThunderCats coming up from Super 7. Are you interviewing again Brian Flynn or any of the members of his team? I would like to know to post questions for them man.😃💡✌️
Thank you for your kind response. I don't have any Super 7 Lion O because I wanted something more faithful to the cartoon and the other versions didn't convince me with the face sculpting. But this version looks more faithful to the cartoon. How does the plastic and the joints feel? Of good quality? Or since its price is lower, the materials are also more fragile and of poorer quality?
The plastic feels solid and not fragile at all. And I was surprised at the number of paint apps and the paint that is there is applied nicely. I'm happy with the $35 price I paid. I said it's worth the purchase.
@@TkdbarThanks for your response. What do you mean by hole? That plastic is light and of poor quality? Or do you want to say that it is hollow because it has almost no accessories. I really don't know if I should buy it, I like how it looks in the video and in the photos Lion O
Next time when you will have a conversation with Brian ask him why they make such a stupid mistakes all the time (i' m referring to his biceps), also why the hell they can't make a Lion-O with properly painted eyes, they always look kinda weird.
I'd be tempted by Cheetara and Mandora.
Great review, I came away from ultimates but as in box collector, the LJN throwback cards is very appealing so I’ve ordered Lion-O and Monkian

@@NewToMythics I’m really hoping cartoon Panthro is next.
Great review bro!

Yeah it is. I have the original but I'm loving this deluxe lineup. Such a smart move on Super7's part.
Great video, man.
@@Tkdbar Thank you so much for saying so.

Oh my. I never noticed. Thanks so much. I'll have to fix them up.
6" or smaller?

It feels good, but surprisingly hollow for a super 7 figure.

I saw him in person at Target over the weekend and the colors just look too washed out for me. If they'd been richer I'd have probably picked him up
