So, we’ve taken the tree trunk flush with the ground. This means the stump hasn’t even yet been touched, at all.

Yeah, a chain saw could have gotten down to that depth,…an hour earlier.
And considering the time, effort and the expense of that piece of machinery,…what am I missing here?

If the machine will drive below the ground, & it surely looks as if that machine will do a fine job of drilling down as far as the machine will allow, perhaps the presenters prefer the clean look of the above ground chop. Quick & clean looking.
Problem: plenty of us know that the largest issue one will encounter concerning stump-grinder dudes, involves incomplete work *below the level of the ground*…
So yes, for me, this is to the point of a fraudulent-level misinterpretation of the “stump-grinding of this 15” Oak stump!*

Very nice attachment... my uncle's got the cat 299d I believe it's called. It's the biggest skidsteer cat makes... hes got a stump bucket, looks like the jaws of a alligator with 3 teeth in the front, but he doesnt have one of those. Those are nice. The only benefit to the stump bucket is y get the WHOLE stump out. Roots and all
