- So, the full version of Memory Lane is finally here. I can't thank you all enough for listening, commenting, messaging me, and everything in between. You've changed my life in more ways than one, and brought tears to my eyes in the process. You reminded me why I do music. As some of you may know, I asked you guys to send in videos of your loved ones for this video. I got so many more emails than I could've ever imagined, and it was almost impossible to narrow it down. I want you to know that I read every single email and watched every single video. So if your video isn't in here, it doesn't mean it didn't touch me beyond words. Its a really hard thing to do but it’s all that we have left of them, as memories lasts an eternity; even if we happen to grow old and forget, our heart won’t. ❤️ you’re strong and even if you and I would most likely never know each other, I pray that your heart is healed and you grow stronger day by day. Today at 6am marks 4 weeks since my beloved cat breathed her last breath in my arms and I still can’t think of her without sobbing. I feel her all around me, so much so that I keep forgetting she is gone and when I see a shadow I will greet her, or when I go to leave I run to kid her goodbye, only to realize she’s not here when she doesn’t answer me or when her favorite spot lies empty and cold. I keep thinking time will dull the knife edge of this pain, if only I can hide from it somehow, but I know it’s better to walk down memory lane, remembering how she gave me a reason to go on each and every day for 13 years ❤️🩹💔

1:03 shows my last moments with my grandpa. He passed the next day after a long 13 year battle with 3 rounds of lung cancer. The last round took him from us 10/10/2019. I’m so thankful his memory lives on forever in this video. Thank you so so much for picking my video to be featured.

I wish I could say the pain of losing a loved one goes away but we all know it never does. There's good days and there's bad days that just feel unbearable but we gotta keep moving through. So we walk down this memory lane to bring us close with those we've lost. We've known those lost for so long but we must remember them for the rest of our lives. We must carry the legacy of our loved ones forward. And always remember it was never good bye but until we meet again.

This is such a beautiful song that brings back memories of my brother who passed 2 years ago at the age of 39. We miss him so much.
I have listened to this at least 20 times over and over again, i started to look old family pictures and now i can't stop crying.
i Lost My Brother when i was just 4-5 years old, i don't rememberd lot about him and i don't know what i actually remember, and what things i have heard later in life from other people, but i still miss him, and sometimes i'm sad that i didn't get to know him properly.
I Lost my Grandma on December 25, 2021, she lived in a nursing home for her last years, i didn't really I never got a chance to get to know her either, her memory loss was already bad, and at the end she didn't even remember my father, her son, and she had no idea who we were, now i have heard storys of how kind hearted she was on her young age.
I didn't get to know these people deeply, but i know lot of people that knew them, and i can only imagine how all of them, and all of other people that have lost their close ones feel.❤️

This song has always touched my heart and brought me to tears as memories rushed in. This video has just about broken me. Being in my 60s I have lost so many important people in my life. Instead remembering them independently this video has brought them all to mind. Even as the tears flow I realize just how lucky I am to have had so many of these special people in my life. Hug your family, friends and pets. Make the most of life everyday.
Words cannot express how beautiful this song is and the video put together to go along with it. Life is a short journey thats not about money, fame or material possessions, its about love and memories. So take a step away from work and enjoy the things you didnt have to buy because it can all be gone in the blink of an eye. Hug your friends and family and let them know you love them, be silly with the kids, smile more often, see new places, dont be affraid to try new things. We only get one chance, take it and love it❤
Ik some will interpret this as a love break up song but it gives off the vibe of before you go where someone really important has passed away before you planned to let them go.
The 1st time I heard this song is on instagram while I was browsing, it was not full version but I bawled my eyes out, 2020 and 2021 was my hardest years losing my grandfather(2020) and my 7 year old cousin who is like my little sister (2021), this song hits me so much. They will always be in my memory and will forever remember them just to feel like they are here with me. Thanks for this song it really touches my heart.

Thank you for this beautiful song. It is amazing and so true. It’s very hard for me to walk down memory lane but as of Monday I’ll never take it or anything else for granted. Had 2 out of 5 brain aneurisms burst at age 52. My Uncle Jimmy was also 52 had 5 aneurisms but he didn’t make it :(. I’m doing good for having these so praise God, both Mary’s and lots of love and light to all. Thank you.

This makes me cry every time I sing along with it. My little brother was my best friend. He died 9 yrs ago at 33 yrs old. I don’t know how to live the rest of my life without him but music helps. That memory lane gets me thru some dark things I've experienced/experiencing. It feels wholesome and it's the only way to remember moments things that aren't in my life anymore. This December, it'll be two years since I lost my grandma. She meant a lot to me. I never cried the day she passed away. It haunts me to this day, idk why i never did because I was her favorite grandkid. I miss her smile, her goodbye kisses, teasing her, I miss everything about her. She was supposed to be here to see me get married, see me give birth and all that. I hope she's happy wherever she is. I love you and miss you with all my heart aji💙🥺
I know the mom and baby at 0:57. Not in person, but they are Judith and her son Aiden. She has a podcast called "As long as I'm living". Her baby boy died of SIDS in 2021 and I'm grateful I got to know him thanks to her.
