I am I A45 AMG owner, also a mechanic, my best advice for M133 engine sound mods is to change an aftermarket DOWN PIE cat or cat less, it will get the most of it for the dollars (also HP increase ). If you got the budget, perhaps go for full Turbo to back exhaust, but it will cost you around 5000 USD and be advise it comes with a remote control that means you no longer avaiable to control it over the stock button on your car. Resonator Delete on this modle in my opinion will be completely waste of time and money.
Unfortunatly there isn't much difference after removing the mid resonator. It's only a bit sharper. When removing the back muffler, the bangs will be much louder but the quality of the sound will be less. The best sound for this A45 is to put an decat downpipe and a resonator delete. It's not only louder but much sharper!
Decat down pipe high flow res and a muffler delete ! 3 inch all the way to 2.75 inch tail pipes it’s the best for pretty Much any 2.0 turbo with a dual clutch
Dude you need to get rid of the cat and that huge resonator in the back, then it will do crazy sounds you are clearly after. Also rip mechanic eyes who does not use black out visor when welding lol.
i have cl 550 2009 if i remove the resonator am i going to have the check engine .. what is the effect of removing resonator and benefit of it please can some one explain that to me
resonator shouldn't give you a check engine light, that's only if you decat it and dont map the light out. The resonator is basically a silencer box, so by removing it and replacing it with a straight bit of pipe it makes the exhaust louder
I checked directly with Mercedes. And the only exhaust modification that void warranty is the catalytic converter. OEM one can't be replace, even by another downpipe with catalytic converter.
removing the resonator is here in switzerland illegal but i found a way for get it removed legal :P thats why next week my cla 45 amg recive a amg performance exhaust that dont have a resonator in the middle :P

You need a brighter colour on it man the dark colour isn’t showing the lines and aero pack well enough
the colour is lovely when the sun is out and the car is clean haha

Does this affect the warranty on the car? I want to do this on my CLA45
Sir Sambo it shouldn't do No, if anything it'll only affect exhaust warranty but nothing else on the car
