Magic it was the godmother/magical person's way of getting Cinderella out of her situation with work and desire on both Cinderellas part and the Prince. A test for the Prince and gives Cinderella a way out.

I’m at a really low point with lockdown and separation from family yet returning to these videos is the first time I’ve stopped crying in days.
