The only problem I have with this is, can't use USB C to USB C charging. Can only do A to C

Stupid design. The magnets should be exposed and they should electrically connect the 2 parts. By this design change, one cable charging (in any of those usb ports) will be sufficient to charge both of them.
To manage to charge both separately is a shame in this price point.

I don't disagree with you. I really wish we could charge both magnets with one cable.
I'm hoping with a version 2 they can do it.
