I have a crappy gluegun that leaves strings of glue all over and not user friendly at all.

Loved these! You mentioned that these little paper clips are about 1 1/4 inches wide, how long is the strip of paper that you start out with, and when done, how big or long are they,? they look like about an inch? Is that about right?
