3 TYPES of mentor that will advance your career (FREE): bit.ly/3mentortypes
My first real mentor came into my life at age 41- my first supervisor after I switched careers - the awesome Dolores Brown, who passed away last January :( Her warmth and presence live on in my ❤️
My first mentor was my regional manager back in my sales days, I still utilize things I learnt with her today in my own business!
My first mentor was David Stevenson. We worked together in London at an economic development agency and he taught me so much! After such a positive experience, I have sought out mentors over the years and a Scotsman by the name of Frank Hitchman supported me in my early CEO roles. Coaching is a whole different ball game and I find it a really challenging medium that encourages (through clever questions) to make you think through solutions to problems that you can embrace - powerful stuff!
I've been lucky to have had a number of mentors in my career! I had two brilliant mentors in my first job... And they were both amazing in helping me through the ups and downs in my career for many years.
Thanks for the video Suzanne! For sure it is all about always asking the right questions... the right question which helps you break through to the next level. Keep growing & keep succeeding 💚💪
My first mentor was Nicki, a fantastic staff nurse when I was doing my nursing degree.
Great video Jennifer! Very informative I actually didn't know the difference, so this was just great!
Great video and thanks for the clear , concise tips. I am able now to distinguish between both coaching and mentoring now.
Super interesting! I feel like I've done this over the years for so many people but never actually 'classified it' as 'coaching'! Great video!
That's really great to hear!

Helpful.
My first mentor was Demetra George
Misha Wilson was my first mentor! :)
And did you know she was a mentor at the time?
It's coaching that makes you choose coaching and mentoring according to your needs, right? I was glad to see that I needed a mentor to help me learn.
Write down who your first mentor was!
Hmmm....probably Napoleon Hill from his Laws of Success books
your such a wonderful person
Hi

Very interesting, too bad bosses don't think hard for female employees until .... Bob
I've had a coach, but I've never had a mentor.
