Dr. Solberg, your content and teaching are top-shelf. I am amazed at how much substantative truth you are able to convey in a succinct amount of time. Your prayerful and thoughtful preparation is evident and greatly appreciated. Hebrews is one of my favorite books, so I am enjoying this series.
Thank you so much, Theophilus! That means a lot to me to hear that. I wish I could put out these episodes more frequently, but it just takes so much time to wrestle with the text. Part three of this study is underway and should be out in the next week or so! Blessings, Rob
@@TheBiblicalRoots Quality teaching is worth the wait. Keep responding to the Hebrew Roots movement with Biblical substance. It is sorely needed. You are showing people how to study the Bible maturely.
Since my earliest days of reading and studying the Bible the book of Hebrews comes to my mind time after time. Thank you for making this content and sharing it with us. I’ll be sure to share it with my Christian brothers and sisters.
Honestly beatiful the way you lay this out and use other forms of reference is truly inspiring and have stired up my faith in knowing Gods plan has truly brought me a new excitement for him being the alpha and omega I’m binge studying this teaching today ❤️❤️❤️
This segment was exactly what I needed. I've been studying Hebrews in one Bible and studying the OT in another Bible. Hebrews is written differently than most of the NT, and sometimes confused me a little. This correlation that you have described from Hebrews to the OT explains a lot. I truly appreciate your channel. God Bless you!!
You need to do a line by line ran to hrm that showed none of the things were new. And trace back to laws. Saying that it didn't even elevate. Care to do one
What an awesome intro Rob…I’m loving this….thank you so much…things are making a whole lot of sense as you unpack the word so clearly…and with such humility be blessed dear brother ❤️🙏👍
These principles are very hard to understand but form the basis for our beliefs. R L Solberg states @15:29 “Think about what a dramatic change this would have been for Jewish followers of Jesus.” Yes and WOW!!! It is a complete change in course in the plan of God and many never see it. Can’t wait for lesson two.
I had fallen into the Torah movement for a few months. Looking back I can’t believe I fell for it. Your videos helped me get back on track. Thank God my eyes have been opened to this deception. One of the problems with this movement is that they say you can’t add or take away from the mosaic law..yet they literally can’t do what the mosaic law says such as how exactly to celebrate the feasts with sacrifice and then about circumcision, chosen place of worship by God.. and how they can’t worship God any other way then what was prescribed, but they do not follow it exactly, they just do the best they can. Of all these things that are in the law and they can’t practice these things then they are taking away from the law so either way they are breaking it in my view. And another problem is it shifts your focus from Jesus to trying to keep the commands, at least that was the case for me. Now I have my focus back on Jesus. Thank you Lord! ♥️
You have fallen back into deception and if you were only in the Torah movement for a couple of months you don't know what you're talking about God said over 40 times in the Old Testament that his law was forever Eternal and for all generations in Jesus said that the law would not change until it was no heaven or no Earth andso by not keeping the Torahyou are now living in sin according to the Gospel of John as Sin is a violation of the Torah you need to come back to the Torah and watch Torah teaching channels on UA-camand read and research on your own Satan has been using the church in their corrupted teachings ever since the apostles to deceive people into believing that they can sin against God and so be saved you will not be saved
Dear sister. It isn’t the Torah that’s wrong or false, it’s people choosing to make men their teacher and rabbi instead of being a disciple of YESHUA. I’ve been following YESHUA from the treasures found from both the old and the new for twenty plus years and never have been closer to my LORD than now. Matthew 13:51-

Can you please explain to me why Christians encourage one another to resist the blessings of God found in Isaiah 56 & 58! Isaiah 56 tells us about the blessings to those that keep God's sabbath(s)! First you'll be remembered by God! Also you'll have a name better than a son or daughter. He tells the foreigners and eunuchs that even THEY will be blessed for keeping them! Now the sons & daughters are faithful Israel! The foreigners are the ( Christians) & they will be given a name better than faithful Israel, ""IF"" they take delight in Gods sabbaths (Isaiah 58:13)! The blessings are there for anyone who wishes to follow Gods instructions! Why would anyone who claims to love God not want to please Him? Would not want His blessings? Yet many say no to God's blessings! This just boggles the mind!!
Your videos and your ministry it's self is so inspiring and important for where I am in my spiritual growth. I believe you are fulfilling the Lord's will. I'm looking forward to part 2
I'm gonna have to kindly disagree with you on this one. He reads out of the bible, and I follow him with mine, and if he has any opinions, he clearly specifies this in his teachings. He has never in the videos I have watched, has never said anything that contradicts the Word. However, I do like your alertness and keeping an eye out for me. Thank you.
Hello, Anoint710! Did you know you're violating the 8th commandment about bearing false witness against your neighbor with this comment? You're making claims about me that are completely untrue. I've never taught that stealing and killing are okay, nor that it's okay to disobey God. If you truly loved me as you claim, you would have taken the time to understand what I _actually teach_ before publicly stating that my teachings are "vile, disgusting, utterly wicked and false." Blessings, Rob
@Hash710-sp9mc If you knew me back in the days when I played in a metal band, you’d say my hair is short today! It’s all relative. The roles of men and women have not changed, but the way we indicate those roles changes with each culture. In 1 Cor. 11:3-15, Paul is not trying to establish legalistic standards of hair length for men. He’s saying Christians should adhere to the culturally accepted indicators of gender; men should look like men, and women should look like women. God created those two genders for a reason. And the primary issue in that passage is headship and authority and our willingness to each walk in submission to God and His ordained order. And if it makes you feel better, if there ever comes a time when people start mistaking me for a woman, I'll think about cutting my hair short! Blessings, Rob
@Hash710-sp9mcLOL! Honestly, I can't tell if you are serious or if you are playing. But if that's what you got out of my comment, you might think about taking some classes in reading comprehension, my friend. Because that's not what I said at all. Shalom! Rob
Thank you so much for these videos! You are amazing at teaching a vast amount of information in a small window of time. This is a gift! Thank you for sharing it!
Many false Christs come to teach Christians to keep the law of Moses. Those who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; they have fallen away from grace. Rob is doing a great job in exposing the false teachings of the the Hebrew Root movement and alike. Thank you for doing that❤

@@onejohn2.26 Not in his mind, In the Holy Scriptures. I see you are teaching a false gospel, Works Salvation, just like the Antichrist. Interesting how the weak minded as yourself believe that Jesus's Bride missed the fact that they shouldn't have eaten Pig these last 2000 yrs, truly a lowIQ cult.
@@onejohn2.26 Christ was born under the Old Covenant and lived perfectly His whole life under the Old Covenant and died under the Old Covenant. He took all of the curses of the Old Covenant for us and took all of the blessings of the Old Covenant for us. His blood shed at Calvary fulfilled the New Covenant promised in the Book of Jeremiah. Paul revealed the temporary nature of the Old Covenant in Galatians 3:16-29 and Galatians 4:24-31. Paul said the law was "added" 430 years "after" the promise made to Abraham "till" the seed (Christ) could come to whom the promise was made. Paul also spoke of the "two covenants" and instructed the Galatian believers to "cast out" the Sinai Covenant of "bondage". New Covenant Whole Gospel: What the modern Church needs is a New Covenant Revival (Heb. 9:10) in which members of various denominations are willing to re-examine everything they believe and see if it agrees with the Bible, instead of the traditions of men. We need to be like the Bereans. It will be a battle between our flesh and the Holy Spirit. It will not be easy. If you get mad and upset when someone challenges your man-made Bible doctrines, that is your flesh resisting the truth found in God's Word. Nobody can completely understand the Bible unless they understand the relationship between the Old Covenant given to Moses at Mount Sinai and the New Covenant fulfilled in blood at Calvary. What brings all local churches together into one Body under the blood of Christ? The answer is found below. Let us now share the Old Testament Gospel found below with the whole world. On the road to Emmaus He said the Old Testament is about Him. He is the very Word of God in John 1:1, 14. Awaken Church to this truth. Jer 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Jer 31:32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by husband unto them, saith the LORD: Jer 31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. Jer 31:34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. Is the most important genealogy in the Bible found in Matthew 1:1 (Gal. 3:16)? Is God's Son the ultimate fulfillment of Israel (John 1:49)? Why has the modern Church done a pitiful job of sharing the Gospel with modern Orthodox Jews? Why would someone tell them they are God's chosen people and then fail to share the Gospel with them? Who is the seed of the woman promised in Genesis 3:15? What did Paul say about Genesis 12:3 in Galatians 3:8? Who is the "son" in Psalm 2? Who is the "suffering servant" of Isaiah 53? Who would fulfill the New Covenant promised in Jeremiah 31:31-34? Who would fulfill the timeline of Daniel chapter 9 before the second temple was destroyed? Why have we not heard this simple Old Testament Gospel preached on Christian television in the United States on a regular basis? Once a person comes to understand the New Covenant promised to Israel and Judah in Jeremiah 31:31-34, which is found fulfilled by Christ during the first century in Hebrews 8:6-13, and Hebrews 10:16-18, and specifically applied to the Church in 2 Corinthians 3:6-8, and Hebrews 12:22-24, man-made Bible doctrines fall apart. Let us now learn to preach the whole Gospel until He comes back. The King of Israel is risen from the dead! (John 1:49, Acts 2:36) We are not come to Mount Sinai in Hebrews 12:18. We are come instead to the New Covenant church of Mount Zion and the blood in Hebrews 12:22-24. 1Jn 3:22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. 1Jn 3:23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. 1Jn 3:24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us. The following verses prove the Holy Spirit is the master teacher for those now in the New Covenant. Jer 31:34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. Mar 1:8 I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost. Joh 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. Act 11:16 Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost. 1Co 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. 1Jn 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. @Anoint710-bo1kn “For as many as are of the works of the Law are under a curse; for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who does not abide by all things written in the book of the law, to perform them.” Now that no one is justified by the Law before God is evident; for, “The righteous man shall live by faith.” However, the Law is not of faith; on the contrary, “He who practices them shall live by them.” Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for us-for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”- in order that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so that we would receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.” Galatians 3:10-14 NASB1995 Scripture actually teaches the the contrary. Those under the law are cursed, and if faith in Yeshua is our way to salvation, then you can’t get there by the law because the law is not of faith, which is the only way we’re saved. Not even those who had the Law were true children of Abraham, but it is those who have faith who are children of Abraham. Gods not interested in the works of the Law in order to be pleased with men, He’s interested in those who put faith in His son, in whom He is well pleased. The Law is good and does a great job holding us accountable to God, being shut up under it as guilty sinners so that we can die to it and be joined to Christ by faith. Rob teaches from the Bible and He does an awesome job exposing the dangers and traps of The Hebrew Roots movement/Torah Observant groups😊 Blessings!
I really appreciate your in-depth teachings of the historical narrative of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! We are encouraged to study Christ, and indeed your platform is just that! Amazing! Most importantly, your teachings are very objective and in line with what it means to study in a hermeneutical way. Many of us are going through religious purging. My purging is from the SDA system of teachings! I'm truly enjoying the refreshing christian life and freedom in Christ! No, I am not free to engage in sinful behaviors as some might think or asked if we are not under the "Ten Commandments," then therefore we can go on sinning if we are not keeping the Sabbath? However, in faith I believe that Jesus death satisfied what I couldn't do. As a gentile, I am not able to keep the Jewish rituals (Sabbath etc.) that they, too couldn't keep. Faith in Christ is what is keeping me. Thanks Rob, for your service in the body of Christ!❤

Hebrews 9:13-14 (ESV): 13 For if the blood of goats and bulls, and the sprinkling of defiled persons with the ashes of a heifer, sanctify for the purification of the flesh, 14 how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, purify our conscience from dead works to serve the living God.

@@cogito_ergo_sum-y2h That is mistranslated it is not "false christs" it is "false followers of Christ." That can also be double checked by reading Julius writings in Rome it is the same term he used also. It is also used in bible commentaries from way back the same way. The entire chapter of Matthew 24 is a warning on this and actually goes all the way into chapter 26 before he finished what he was saying. That is why we also have these verses Mat 16: 20 Then he STRICTLY FORBADE THEM TO TELL ANY MAN THAT HE, JESUS, WAS THE CHRIST. Mar 8:29 And he said to them, and you whom do you say me to be? And Peter answered saying to him YOU ARE THE CHRIST. 30 And HE REBUKED THEM THAT TO NO ONE THEY SHOULD TELL CONCERNING HIM. Luk 9:20 -21 Then he said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” And Peter answered, “THE CHRIST OF GOD.” And HE STRICTLY CHARGED AND COMMANDED THEM TO TELL THIS TO NO ONE Why would he strictly command them not to say he was Jesus the Christ or rebuke them for calling him Jesus the Christ unless he meant it?
@@cogito_ergo_sum-y2hyep. A false anointed one is one who teaches men to negate or reject the law of GOD and the other is one who makes false prophecies that don’t come true.
@@walkinginthegodgiven-jerem5502 Paul taught that a person is not justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no one will be justified. You see, this doesn't negate the law of God because Christ redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit. What Paul means is this: The law, introduced 430 years later, does not set aside the covenant previously established by God and thus do away with the promise. For if the inheritance depends on the law, then it no longer depends on the promise; but God in his grace gave it to Abraham through a promise. So the law was our guardian until Christ came that we might be justified by faith. Now that this faith has come, we are no longer under the law. False teachers reject what Paul wrote. Jesus pointed out that you must be born again. You must receive the spirit of Christ by faith to be justified and made righteous. Clearly no one who relies on the law is justified before God, because "the righteous will live by faith." So those who live by faith in the Son of God are the righteous ones. No one reject the law of Moses since it is not required of believers to keep them under the New Covenant. For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: "Love your neighbor as yourself." And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us.
Count he says many will come in his name. Claim his name. Vicar of christ means christs representative on earth Anyone looking at dark age catholics? But no there is a new covenant people from isreal don't believe in law rabbis Jewish say christ was not messiah for the same reason Christians say he was. Cuase the majority of law was washed away So if jews actual people in isreal think that wat footing does hRM have
Abraham was justified by faith long before the Law was written. The "Law" was written to show ancient Israel what was required for righteousness without faith.
that's nonsense the law goes all the way back to Genesis as how did Cain and Abel know about sacrifices? and as far as Abraham is concerned; Abraham obeyed my voice and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.” Genesis 26:5
@@onejohn2.26They knew nothing of sacrifices until God made garments for them. The bible itself says Abraham was justified by faith before the law. The law came through Moses, not Adam or Abraham
@onejohn2.26 I can debunk you Ask yourself. Sex between siblings is sin yes. God considers it horrible yes? No ask yourself who did seth marry.? His sister Did he sin. Or was he following commandments Abraham was ordered to sacrifice Issac... something forbidden by law that Abraham was told to do. The man was father of faith and went uncircumcised but circumcision is done after... So no the mosaic covenant did not exist in garden. To say so. Is illogical Also some HrM say christ changed nothing others say he made law more binding. Which is it.
Its not about doing the Law for Righteousness, because correct James 2:23 And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” And he was called the friend of God. But walking in ALL the Creator's ways (Commandments & Ordinances) BLAMELESSLY Matthew 12:5 Or have you not read in the law that on the Sabbath the priests in the temple profane the Sabbath, and are blameless? Luke 1:6 And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless. Psalm 19:13 Keep back Your servant also from presumptuous sins; Let them not have dominion over me. Then I shall be blameless, And I shall be innocent of great transgression. So in other words: being blameless is found as context of example here: 18 But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. 19 You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe-and tremble! 20 But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead? 21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? 22 Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect? 23 And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” And he was called the friend of God. 24 You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only. James 2:18-24
For all who rely on the works of the law are under a curse, as it is written: "Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law." Clearly no one who relies on the law is justified before God, because "the righteous will live by faith." But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace. I would like to learn just one thing from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by believing what you heard?
@@cogito_ergo_sum-y2h on the other hand those who walk in the ways of the Creator in obedience of what is outpoured in Christ are under a blessing and no curse will attain them, Matthew 5:44 But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you... Galatians 3:13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”), Revelation 22:3 And there shall be no more curse, but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him. You see no Curse! You want to learn how I received the Holy Spirit, Romans 7:14 For we know that the law is spiritual... Romans 8:4 that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. The giver of the law is the same giver of the Spirit, one is not without the other! John 1:45

@@onejohn2.26 I’ve heard this viewpoint a lot from friends and family under the Hebrew Roots umbrella. That we follow the whole Bible and God’s commandments not Paul or any other writer. Here’s a question, who is the author of the Bible?, “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness,” 2 Timothy 3:16 , Denouncing Paul’s writings is denouncing God and his work through the Holy Spirit to spread the Gospel to the gentiles through Paul. The law and faith are apposed to one another, “Now it is evident that no one is justified before God by the law, for “The righteous shall live by faith.” But the law is not of faith, rather “The one who does them shall live by them.”” Galatians 3:11-12 ESV You either live by the Law of Moses, or you live by faith in Jesus Christ. “For if there was glory in the ministry of condemnation, the ministry of righteousness must far exceed it in glory. Indeed, in this case, what once had glory has come to have no glory at all, because of the glory that surpasses it. For if what was being brought to an end came with glory, much more will what is permanent have glory.” 2 Corinthians 3:9-11 ESV The problem with any false gospel is that it takes it’s beliefs and tried to explain them using scripture not allowing for scripture to dictate itself. Last note, why did God choose Paul?, The life, death and resurrection of Christ is the biggest pillar of our faith and that is without question, but Paul’s story is another proof of the gospel. Paul writes about how in the context of boasting in the Law he is superior to all of his critics, and if God can change him. He can change anyone. “For you have heard of my former life in Judaism, how I persecuted the church of God violently and tried to destroy it. And I was advancing in Judaism beyond many of my own age among my people, so extremely zealous was I for the traditions of my fathers.” Galatians 1:13-14 ESV The Grace of God our Father and Jesus Christ be with you all. @@danibner9506 All scripture is breathed out by God? When Paul made that statement, the only scriptures that were available was what we would refer to as the Old Testament, none of the New Testament and certainly none of Paul's letters we're considered scripture at that time. Who authored bible? Men authored the Bible The Bible itself is unbiblical ...God never ordered anyone to create a Bible as far as God choosing Paul, did he? Paul never gave any testimony himself about his supposed change on the road to Damascus and the three stories in Acts, that are about Paul's being chosen are all different in key points, abd there's no writing of witnessesto this encounter.furthermore I think it's quite telling that Paul never wrote about his encounter with Jesus on the road himself,he never gave his testimony. as far as Paul being The Apostle to the Gentiles was another one of Paul's lies, because Peter stated, that Peter was the Apostle to the Gentiles chosen by God. Denouncing Paul's teaching is denouncing god? That's just ridiculous, Paul is a man, he is not the Messiah, nor is he Jesus, nor is he God and when Pauls teaches against the laws of God, he should be denounced, and he is wrong. In Acts 21 Paul was sanctioned by the true Apostles, because of his teachings. Paul was teaching against the law, and he almost caused a riot in Jerusalem He was thrown out of the Temple and the Apostles made him take the Nazareth vow which is very expensive, because he was forced to pay for sacrificial animals from himself and four other men and pay for their haircuts. you should be asking yourself why Jesus didn't choose Paul when he was aliveand I believe that Paul is the false Apostle spoken of in Revelation 2:2 because all the specifics Point directly to Paul. God said over 40 times that his law is forever, for all generations, and eternal, and so did Jesus. Everything Jesus taught was from the law and the Torah and He said, there was a better chanceof Heaven and Earth falling away then one dotof the law to fall away Furthermore Jesus taught that He would tell the Lawless to depart from Him and He also said that those who teach against the law, and do not obey the law, are the least in Heaven It seems to me that you know more about what Paul taught, rather than what Jesus and God taught. The Gospel of John states that sin is a violation of the Torah, and so, if you do not keep the laws of the Torah, you are living in continual sin, and if you die in unrepented sin, you will not get Grace, and you will be dismissed from the sight of Jesus That's what the scriptures say, and believe it or not, the truth is the truth.
Thank you and even my (Messianic) Rabbi referred me to your channel. I attend another Messianic group locally different than the one my Rabbi is at on Shabbat but they don’t understand the Spirit Indwelled or Grace, sweet Grace. Are they saved absolutely yes but they believe we have to follow the Torah and not the Ten Commandments but all 613 that can be followed without a Temple. Sad.
Acts 13:38-45 (NLT): 38 “Brothers, listen! We are here to proclaim that through this man Jesus there is forgiveness for your sins. 39 Everyone who believes in him is made right in God’s sight-something the law of Moses could never do. 40 Be careful! Don’t let the prophets’ words apply to you. For they said, 41 ‘Look, you mockers, be amazed and die! For I am doing something in your own day, something you wouldn’t believe even if someone told you about it.’” 42 As Paul and Barnabas left the synagogue that day, the people begged them to speak about these things again the next week. 43 Many Jews and devout converts to Judaism followed Paul and Barnabas, and the two men urged them to continue to rely on the grace of God. Paul Turns to the Gentiles 44 The following week almost the entire city turned out to hear them preach the word of the Lord. 45 But when some of the Jews saw the crowds, they were jealous; so they slandered Paul and argued against whatever he said.
Fallacies: Hebrews 1:1-4 suggests a transition in divine communication from prophets to God speaking through His Son. A meticulous examination, however, reveals certain fallacies within the argument. The passage seemingly involves circular reasoning, where the New Testament (NT) asserts authority over the Tanakh without offering external evidence. This assumed authority serves as the basis for the claim that God spoke through the prophets. Circular reasoning weakens the argument, as the NT is relied upon to validate assertions about the Tanakh. A related fallacy is present, akin to Begging the Question. Here, the claim assumes that the Tanakh supports the assertion without providing direct evidence. This assumption about the Tanakh speaking of God's communication through prophets might be perceived as presupposed or self-justified within the NT text. To fortify the argument and circumvent circular reasoning, it is essential to provide explicit references to relevant Tanakh verses. Establishing a clear connection between NT claims and existing Old Testament texts would construct a more compelling and non-circular argument. Notably, the Tanakh accentuates God's communication through prophets, as evidenced by specific verses such as Isaiah 6:8 and Jeremiah 1:5. However, the assertion that God spoke through His Son, Jesus, as the appointed heir of all things and creator of the world introduces theological elements not explicitly supported by the Tanakh. The Tanakh designates Israel as God's firstborn son (Exodus 4:22), underscoring the fallacy in extending the Tanakh's content to validate claims about Jesus.
"I will proclaim the Lord’s decree: He said to me, 'You are my son; today I have become your father. Ask me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession. You will break them with a rod of iron; you will dash them to pieces like pottery.' Therefore, you kings, be wise; be warned, you rulers of the earth. Serve the Lord with fear and celebrate his rule with trembling." Kiss his son, or he will be angry and your way will lead to your destruction, for his wrath can flare up in a moment. Blessed are all who take refuge in him." ~ Psalm 2 : 7ff
@@kimartist Psalms 2:12 Hebrew Translation: “Desire purity (נשקו בר) lest He become angry and you perish in the way, for in a moment His wrath will kindled; the praises of all who take refuge in Him.” King James Version: Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in Him. Why does the King James version translate the Hebrew word בר as “son” in Psalms 2:12, yet translates the exact same word as “pure” or “clean” in every other place where this word appears in the book of Psalms. Psalms 18:20 (21); 18:24 (25); 19:9; 24:4 and 73:1. [ ( ) indicates the Christian Bible verse that differs from the Hebrew Bible.] In Aramaic, the word בר is a conjunctive noun, and means “son of.” In Hebrew, the word בר means “pure” or “clean.” The Book of Psalms does not contain any Aramaic words. If King David wished to use the word “son,” he would of have written the Hebrew word בני, as he did in Psalms 2:7. Psalms 2 After describing the good fortune of the righteous and the failures of the wicked in Psalm 1, the Psalmist now answers the classical question that is posed against this thesis: "Why then do the wicked prosper?" He replies that the success y the evil men is short-lived, for God scorns them. If we are not worthy of witnessing their downfall today, the world will surely see it in Messianic times. Thus we understand why the Sages consider the first two psalms as one. They complement each other spiritually and thematically.
Fantastic teaching brother. I really love the analogy you make with Star Wars. Let scripture interpret scripture. How to go from knowledge ( gnosis) to wisdom (Sophia). By understanding ( synedeisis) through the Holy Spirit of Truth and Revelation. Have you heard of the Perfected by Blood ministry? They teachings are awesome too. Based on the same principle of scripture interprets scripture, no private interpretation (= foolishness of man). Amen ✝️💗
The way I understand it is, it is Jesus that saves us ... His work for us, in us, and through us. He gives us a new heart to love so we don't sin against Him, eachother or ourselves. It is not a sin to be obedient and Holy not to be saved but because we are saved and changed. Paul said should we sin because of grace that gave may abound heaven or God forbid. To the foolish virgins I will say I dont know you. Jesus says this is how we know that we know Him, if we keep his commandments the mist most important commandments to Love the Lord thy God with all thy heart soul and mind and our neighbor as our selves ... love fullfills the Law God is love. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth on Him should not perish but have everlasting life. Believing is slso acton. Faith without works is dead. To walk in the Spirit to not fullfill the lust of the flesh. Not just a hearer of the word but a doer.
Well, I can tell you were you first messed up. You need to be using the CLT version. This is the most accurate.. you should know this with all your knowledge.
Thanks Rob, I'm really looking forward to this series, it was Hebrews and Galatians that really made me start questioning a lot of my Hebrew roots beliefs, along with a few other things. Can I just say when it comes to the idea of the last days I take more partial preterist view of the last days which is that the new testament writers weren't talking about the last days of the world and Jesus' return, but they were talking about the last days of the old covenant and the temple system. The author of Hebrews talks a lot about the temple and the law and I believe he is saying that they were in the last days of that system which was about to come to an end with the destruction of the temple which Christ prophetically said would end in that generation in Matthew 24. I also believe there was this expectation because of Daniel's prophecy that the temple would be destroyed when the Messiah would come so there is an illusion to the last days of Daniel's 70 weeks, collimating in the destruction of the temple. I believe that in 70AD Jesus came in judgment, not His final return but a spiritual return in judgment against Israel using the Roman armies as His weapon of judgment much like God did in the old testament with the nation of Assyria when He described Himself as coming in judgment on the clouds to judge Egypt in Isaiah 19. The burden against Egypt. Behold, the Lord rides on a swift cloud, And will come into Egypt; The idols of Egypt will totter at His presence, And the heart of Egypt will melt in its midst. Isaiah 19:1
Right off the bat… I would have used a more compelling author - James Joyce or Virginia Wolff - to uplift Shakespeare. Twain is brilliant, readable and engaging. One could easily argue that Shakespeare is brilliant but uniquely unreadable even for his day. 😂 I didn’t miss your point… I’m just a huge fan of both Twain and Shakespeare.
Jesus Christ, the Word became flesh, gave us the blueprint for Sonship. An opportunity for EVERY human being to experience and live (Zoe) the life as a Son of God. The opening of Hebrews sets the stage, the book of Revelation gives us the entire process to become Overcomers, Kings and Priests in the order of Melchizedek. Individually, Son, collectively the bride of Christ: the Church ( Ekklesia = called out ones). From glory to glory, by the precious blood of our Lord Christ Jesus. The 7 seals, the 7 trumpets, the 7 bowls, all 7 feasts from Passover to Tabernacle. From the outer court to the most holy place, at the right hand of our father, on the mercy seat, under the two cherubim ( the oath and the promise). Amen ✝️💗
The opening statement: it's about faith in our Great God, not our performance. This is true, but paints an undeveloped picture. His work is Holy Spirit working through us. So, whose performance is that? Even the demons believe, so some 'faiths' aren't saving. It's not faith vs work. It's the Spirits working through us, in grace through faith, and fruit (of the Spirit) worthy of repentance (Mt 3:8). "Rejoices in the Truth". Not pushing a covenant we can't keep, fyi.
A contract to deliver goods is fulfilled. Not destroyed. To that point once the contract has been fulfilled, you don’t keep on delivering goods for a completed contract.
So, in other words, what God and Jesus taught is false, but what Paul, or some unknown author taught, is true? Saton has used the church ever since the apostles died, to convince people that they can be saved by being disobedient to God, and you are helping him.
@@cogito_ergo_sum-y2h the law that most people call the Mosaic lawfound in Leviticus and Deuteronomy there are 613 laws and we are to keep all of them that apply to us under the conditions we are in and it's a very least all Christians can keep God's Seven Feast days His Sabbath and His dietary laws

Matthew 5:19 is talking about you Edit: let me just ask you all a few questions. 1. If Yeshua kept the law and in matthew said the law still stands, where is the confusion 2. If Yahweh would have wanted you killed for disobeying the law, why would he be ok with his son just doing away with the law, and telling us we could live like the pagans. The answer is he wouldn't be ok with that because that's not what Yeshua did 3. Are we free from the law, or are we free from sin by keeping the law.
@@joe1940 Christianity is a pagan religion. Going to church on Sunday is sun god worship. Christmas is VERY pagan. Easter is VERY pagan. Everything you think you know, you don't know. Therefore I won't call myself a christian, I am a follower of messiah. Yeshua followed his father's instructions, and told us to do the will of his FATHER
@@JamezEd1tz(Romans chapter 14) If you want to go to church on Saturday and eat kosher that's fine, but you aren't earning any points with God. You're justified by your faith in the finished work of Christ on the Cross and nothing else.
And the next verse is talking about you. For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven.
Having heard just the first few mins, i have to ask; are you discounting that we are called upon to show works meet of repentance? They are acts of righteousness and i posit that these are the works that go with the faith that James spoke of, these are the works that will be tried at the believers judgement... #FaithWithoutWorksIsDead. Yeshua held that view when asked, what shall i do to inherit Eternal Life, didn't he? Faith isn't abstract, airy fairy in the sky it's actually a practical thing, it should come with action or it's nothing... As an One says, we don't do works of righteousness to be saved, but because we are saved and know better.... I'm listening though, because i'm open minded...
Hi, Ennisel! In Scripture, salvation does not _require_ good works, it _produces_ good works. That's an important distinction. When the Bible talks about us being judged based on our works, it has to do with our position in heaven, not whether or not we actually make it there. Notice that Jesus teaches that both groups of people will be in heaven, the only difference is between being "least" or "great:" "Whoever relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven" (Matt 5:19) Shalom, Rob
Bro@@TheBiblicalRoots; I do agree with that, but surely salvation w/o good works is empty salvation and tantamount to the worthless steward who didn't multiply the talents; the word, given to them, is it not? And surely the only way to know how to do those good works are through the instructions that God gave and that Jesus said these two commandments are dependent on the laws and the prophets. I also believe we are in the new covenant age, which will be fully filled at the resurrection, when the laws will be written on our hearts and the spirit will cause us to walk after Our Father's "Laws",; the time where no one will have to teach another about God, because the knowledge of the YHVH will be as the waters cover the sea. Let's be reminded of what Jesus himself said about the Law Matt24:35 So surely the laws that can be fulfilled now, must still stand; mainly the obvious practical laws (instructions) about loving God and loving our fellowman. What i see Yeshua doing in the 1st centrry with the religious leaders of his time was correcting and unburdening extra halakah the had put on the law, other than that, starting with the premise that we're not under the law is doing what those leaders did. Remember the Master also said any that teach the least of these not to obey the least of the commandments will be held in contempt... Thank you for the opportunity to dialogue #Phill4vs23

This title is ironic Christianity is not biblical, Christianity is based on doctrines like supercessionism and dispensational theology. Christianity doesn't dase its doctrines on the bible, it uses the bible to justify its doctrines. Gods Word has a few fail-safes in it that do not allow for the theology of dispensationalism and supercessionism, which teaches that the NT can invalidate what is said in the OT, or the theology that divides up His Torah into separate parts which can be done away with, like calling some of the Law 'Moral' and other parts of it 'ceremonial'. Deut 4:2 (and Jam 2:8-12) inform us obeying Gods Law is an all or nothing proposition, if you choose to only obey some of God's law Jesus said you are voiding all the Law and practicing vain worship(Mar 7:6-13). Jesus quoted the Law which says we are to live by every word that comes from God's mouth, so if your theology violates Deut 4:2, Mat 4:4, and Deut 12:32-13:5 you are a false teacher.
Hello, Nina! I am not a dispensationalist and I have publicly denounced supersessionism many times. You might actually enjoy this teaching! It shows the deep theological connection between the Tanakh and Jesus, the promised Jewish messiah. Blessings, Rob
@DBRofC Thanks for responding. Supercessionists & dispensationalists teach that Christians do not have to obey the Torah - is your thology different to theirs, maybe I have misunderstood your other messages? Amen, we agree, there is a deep theological connection between Yeshua and the Tanakh, because Yeshua came to turn God's people back to the Torah, and the apostles were all teaching the same message. Actually the New Testament contains so many quotes and references to the Old Testament that it would seem the New Testament is literally just a commentary of the Old Testament. However, if you don't use the same definitions as the authors of the Old and New Testaments for words used in the New Testament, then you can make the New Testament say whatever you want it to, much like a Mormon, a Calvinist, a Catholic or a dispensational supercessionist would. In our experience Churchianity Christians use Words like Holy, Righteousness, Sin, Wickedness, Atonement, Evil, Rebellion, Doctrine, and the Word, but they do not use them in the same context as the Bible authors - hence my comment about the irony of the title 'Defending the Biblical Roots of Christianity'. In fact the book of Hebrews tells us if we don't understand the basic principals of the Torah we won't be able to understand the letter itself - and from our own experience, Churchianity does not understand the book of Hebrews because it might read the Torah and study it, but it does not keep it. Churchianity does not HEAR AND OBEY God's Word even thought Jesus told them to in the gospels. Deu 6:4-9 "Hear[HEAR AND OBEY], O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one! You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. "And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates." Jas 1:22 "But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves." Deu 4:2 "You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you." James wrote to us saying that if we show partiality in the Torah, only keeping some of the commandments while ignoring other commandments, we are guilty of breaking all of the Torah. God says we keep His Law by keeping all of His Word, if we are dividing His Law up into categories and ignoring some of His Commandments while keeping some of them, we aren't actually keeping His Law at all, we are guilty of all of it Jas 2:9-12 "but if you show partiality, you commit sin, and are convicted by the law as transgressors. 10 For whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all. 11 For He who said, "DO NOT COMMIT ADULTERY," also said, "DO NOT MURDER." Now if you do not commit adultery, but you do murder, you have become a transgressor of the law. 12 So speak and so do as those who will be judged by the law of liberty. "

This segment was exactly what I needed. I've been studying Hebrews in one Bible and studying the OT in another Bible. Hebrews is written differently than most of the NT, and sometimes confused me a little. This correlation that you have described from Hebrews to the OT explains a lot.
You have fallen back into deception and if you were only in the Torah movement for a couple of months you don't know what you're talking about
God said over 40 times in the Old Testament that his law was forever Eternal and for all generations in Jesus said that the law would not change until it was no heaven or no Earth andso by not keeping the Torahyou are now living in sin according to the Gospel of John as Sin is a violation of the Torah
you need to come back to the Torah and watch Torah teaching channels on UA-camand read and research on your own
Satan has been using the church in their corrupted teachings ever since the apostles to deceive people into believing that they can sin against God and so be saved you will not be saved
Yep, God gave us laws and then said “just do the best you can”. I don’t think so.

Paul said the law was "added" 430 years "after" the promise made to Abraham "till" the seed (Christ) could come to whom the promise was made. Paul also spoke of the "two covenants" and instructed the Galatian believers to "cast out" the Sinai Covenant of "bondage".
New Covenant Whole Gospel:
What the modern Church needs is a New Covenant Revival (Heb.
Jer 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
Jer 31:32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by husband unto them, saith the LORD:
Jer 31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
(John 1:49, Acts 2:36)
We are not come to Mount Sinai in Hebrews 12:18.

@Anoint710-bo1kn “For as many as are of the works of the Law are under a curse; for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who does not abide by all things written in the book of the law, to perform them.” Now that no one is justified by the Law before God is evident; for, “The righteous man shall live by faith.” However, the Law is not of faith; on the contrary, “He who practices them shall live by them.” Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for us-for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”- in order that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so that we would receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.”
Galatians 3:10-14 NASB1995
Scripture actually teaches the the contrary.

@deondouglas8271 - I am also a former SDA, and while this ministry is more dedicated to teaching those in the Hebrew Roots movement, the SDA teaching is very much the same in their law driven ways of belief. I have found this site and the Former Adventist Podcast by Colleen Tinker and Nikki Stevenson very helpful in finding those subtle but harmful teachings that we have been immersed in.
Thank you for your kind words and for sharing your story, Deon! God is good! I've been hearing a lot from SDA folks and have begun looking further into their theology because it certainly does seem to overlap with Torahism. If you have any resources you would recommend, I would be grateful.
Blessings, Rob
Hi Rob, I have tons of resources that I can share. Also, I have a few Pastors that I know who I can connect you with that thought the SDA doctrine until God opened their eyes to the Gospel. Let's do this for the glory of God in Jesus!
Thanks!
Thank you!

Does 2 Peter 3:15-16 say that Paul wrote the Book of Hebrews? I think so.

Wasn't the Masoretic Text written around 950AD and the Septuagint written 200 years before Christ's coming?
Sort of! The Masoretic Text was the colation of pre-existing Hebrew manuscripts, so its not like it was written brand new at that time. But you're technically correct that the Septuagint predates the Masoretic Text by about 1,000 years,

The entire chapter of Matthew 24 is a warning on this and actually goes all the way into chapter 26 before he finished what he was saying.
That is why we also have these verses
Mat 16: 20 Then he STRICTLY FORBADE THEM TO TELL ANY MAN THAT HE, JESUS, WAS THE CHRIST.

Luk 9:20 -21 Then he said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” And Peter answered, “THE CHRIST OF GOD.” And HE STRICTLY CHARGED AND COMMANDED THEM TO TELL THIS TO NO ONE
Why would he strictly command them not to say he was Jesus the Christ or rebuke them for calling him Jesus the Christ unless he meant it?
Clearly no one who relies on the law is justified before God, because "the righteous will live by faith."
So those who live by faith in the Son of God are the righteous ones.
No one reject the law of Moses since it is not required of believers to keep them under the New Covenant.
For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: "Love your neighbor as yourself."
And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us.
Count he says many will come in his name. Claim his name.

Also some HrM say christ changed nothing others say he made law more binding.
Which is it.
Its not about doing the Law for Righteousness, because correct
James 2:23
And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” And he was called the friend of God.
But walking in ALL the Creator's ways (Commandments & Ordinances) BLAMELESSLY
Matthew 12:5
Or have you not read in the law that on the Sabbath the priests in the temple profane the Sabbath, and are blameless?
Luke 1:6
And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.
Psalm 19:13
Keep back Your servant also from presumptuous sins; Let them not have dominion over me. Then I shall be blameless, And I shall be innocent of great transgression.
So in other words: being blameless is found as context of example here:
18 But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.
For all who rely on the works of the law are under a curse, as it is written: "Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law."
Clearly no one who relies on the law is justified before God, because "the righteous will live by faith."
But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.

Paul has no Authority whatsoever to change the law of God no one has the authority to change the law of God and God said over 40 times in the Old Testament that his laws were foreverso I would suggest that you stop reading about Paul and start reading what God and Jesus taught
@@onejohn2.26 I’ve heard this viewpoint a lot from friends and family under the Hebrew Roots umbrella. That we follow the whole Bible and God’s commandments not Paul or any other writer. Here’s a question, who is the author of the Bible?, “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness,”
2 Timothy 3:16 , Denouncing Paul’s writings is denouncing God and his work through the Holy Spirit to spread the Gospel to the gentiles through Paul. The law and faith are apposed to one another, “Now it is evident that no one is justified before God by the law, for “The righteous shall live by faith.” But the law is not of faith, rather “The one who does them shall live by them.””
Galatians 3:11-12 ESV
You either live by the Law of Moses, or you live by faith in Jesus Christ.
“For if there was glory in the ministry of condemnation, the ministry of righteousness must far exceed it in glory. Indeed, in this case, what once had glory has come to have no glory at all, because of the glory that surpasses it. For if what was being brought to an end came with glory, much more will what is permanent have glory.”
2 Corinthians 3:9-11 ESV
The problem with any false gospel is that it takes it’s beliefs and tried to explain them using scripture not allowing for scripture to dictate itself.
And I was advancing in Judaism beyond many of my own age among my people, so extremely zealous was I for the traditions of my fathers.”

All scripture is breathed out by God?
When Paul made that statement, the only scriptures that were available was what we would refer to as the Old Testament, none of the New Testament and certainly none of Paul's letters we're considered scripture at that time.
Who authored bible? Men authored the Bible
The Bible itself is unbiblical ...God never ordered anyone to create a Bible
as far as God choosing Paul, did he?
Everything Jesus taught was from the law and the Torah and He said, there was a better chanceof Heaven and Earth falling away then one dotof the law to fall away
Furthermore Jesus taught that He would tell the Lawless to depart from Him and He also said that those who teach against the law, and do not obey the law, are the least in Heaven
It seems to me that you know more about what Paul taught, rather than what Jesus and God taught.
The Gospel of John states that sin is a violation of the Torah, and so, if you do not keep the laws of the Torah, you are living in continual sin, and if you die in unrepented sin, you will not get Grace, and you will be dismissed from the sight of Jesus
That's what the scriptures say, and believe it or not, the truth is the truth.
Only Paul mentioned Timothy Hebrew 13:23
The Holy Spirit showed me the same thing that Paul wasn't the author because Paul says he always identifes himself.
For they said,
41 ‘Look, you mockers,
be amazed and die!
For I am doing something in your own day,
something you wouldn’t believe
even if someone told you about it.’”
42 As Paul and Barnabas left the synagogue that day, the people begged them to speak about these things again the next week. 43 Many Jews and devout converts to Judaism followed Paul and Barnabas, and the two men urged them to continue to rely on the grace of God.
Paul Turns to the Gentiles
44 The following week almost the entire city turned out to hear them preach the word of the Lord. 45 But when some of the Jews saw the crowds, they were jealous; so they slandered Paul and argued against whatever he said.
Fallacies:
Hebrews 1:1-4 suggests a transition in divine communication from prophets to God speaking through His Son.
"I will proclaim the Lord’s decree:
He said to me, 'You are my son;
today I have become your father.
Ask me,
and I will make the nations your inheritance,
the ends of the earth your possession.
You will break them with a rod of iron;
you will dash them to pieces like pottery.'
Therefore, you kings, be wise;
be warned, you rulers of the earth.
Serve the Lord with fear
and celebrate his rule with trembling."

Psalms 2:12
Hebrew Translation:
“Desire purity (נשקו בר) lest He become angry and you perish in the way, for in a moment His wrath will kindled; the praises of all who take refuge in Him.”
King James Version:
Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little.
[ ( ) indicates the Christian Bible verse that differs from the Hebrew Bible.]
In Aramaic, the word בר is a conjunctive noun, and means “son of.” In Hebrew, the word בר means “pure” or “clean.” The Book of Psalms does not contain any Aramaic words. If King David wished to use the word “son,” he would of have written the Hebrew word בני, as he did in Psalms 2:7.
Psalms 2
After describing the good fortune of the righteous and the failures of the wicked in Psalm 1, the Psalmist now answers the classical question that is posed against this thesis: "Why then do the wicked prosper?" He replies that the success y the evil men is short-lived, for God scorns them.

What does that mean apologetics?
Apologetics is the discipline of defending the Christian faith against false teachings. RLS
Do you believe in the trinity?
Absolutely! RLS
I believe Paul writes Hebrew, because he is a pharasies he is the only one who knows very well about the laws and the temple sacrifice.
Isaiah 19:1
Agreed 💯
God bless you ❤
Right off the bat… I would have used a more compelling author - James Joyce or Virginia Wolff - to uplift Shakespeare. Twain is brilliant, readable and engaging. One could easily argue that Shakespeare is brilliant but uniquely unreadable even for his day. 😂 I didn’t miss your point… I’m just a huge fan of both Twain and Shakespeare.
What is a Hebrew
I take it that “ our ancestors” by the prophets is the writer and audience were Jews
Paul was the vessel, the spirit wrote Hebrew
Amen ✝️💗
I suspected you might be a fellow Star Wars fan lol....
Fulfilled does not mean destroyed even mark twain would know that
"Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have *not* come to abolish them but to fulfill them." (Matt 5:17).
RL
A contract to deliver goods is fulfilled. Not destroyed. To that point once the contract has been fulfilled, you don’t keep on delivering goods for a completed contract.
Monte Judah actually has taught that the book of Hebrews should not be in the Canon of Scripture... 😢
I'm not surprised.

So, in other words, what God and Jesus taught is false, but what Paul, or some unknown author taught, is true?
Saton has used the church ever since the apostles died, to convince people that they can be saved by being disobedient to God, and you are helping him.
How does he help him ?
@@cogito_ergo_sum-y2h He helpes Satan by telling people that they do not have to obey the law of God found in the Torah

Matthew 5:19 is talking about you
Edit: let me just ask you all a few questions.
1. If Yeshua kept the law and in matthew said the law still stands, where is the confusion
2. If Yahweh would have wanted you killed for disobeying the law, why would he be ok with his son just doing away with the law, and telling us we could live like the pagans. The answer is he wouldn't be ok with that because that's not what Yeshua did
3. Are we free from the law, or are we free from sin by keeping the law.
Christians were never required to keep the Law of Moses.

If you are not born again you are not a Christian.
Notice that Jesus teaches that both groups of people will be in heaven, the only difference is between being "least" or "great:"
"Whoever relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven" (Matt 5:19)
Shalom, Rob
Thank you for the opportunity to dialogue

IT IS NOT GODLY ONCE IT IS AGAINST THE LAW OF GOD YEHOVAH
IT IS REBELLION IF IT IS ANTILAW
IT IS A DECEPTION WHEN IT IS CONTRARY TO THE TESTIMONY OF GOD YEHOVAH
IT HAS ALWAYS THE MINISTRY OF THE SERPENT TO TELL PEOPLE NOT TO OBEY THE LAW OF GOD
Jeremiah 23:28-29,35-37 ASV
The prophet that hath a dream, let him tell a dream; and he that hath my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the straw to the wheat? saith Jehovah. [29] Is not my word like fire? saith Jehovah; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces? [35] Thus shall ye say every one to his neighbor, and every one to his brother, What hath Jehovah answered? and, What hath Jehovah spoken? [36] And the burden of Jehovah shall ye mention no more: for every man's own word shall be his burden; for ye have perverted the words of the living God, of Jehovah of hosts our God. [37] Thus shalt thou say to the prophet, What hath Jehovah answered thee? and, What hath Jehovah spoken?
This title is ironic
Christianity is not biblical, Christianity is based on doctrines like supercessionism and dispensational theology.
@DBRofC Thanks for responding.
You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates."
Jas 1:22 "But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves."
Deu 4:2 "You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you."
James wrote to us saying that if we show partiality in the Torah, only keeping some of the commandments while ignoring other commandments, we are guilty of breaking all of the Torah. God says we keep His Law by keeping all of His Word, if we are dividing His Law up into categories and ignoring some of His Commandments while keeping some of them, we aren't actually keeping His Law at all, we are guilty of all of it
Jas 2:9-12 "but if you show partiality, you commit sin, and are convicted by the law as transgressors. "

Means throwing out law entirely
Hrm often conflate these terms.
When rabbis say messiah was false saying he gutted torah.
Messianic leaving this.
And now u claim u know better and say everyone's been wrong for 2 k years.
He also says that Abraham was justified by faith
And he worked and did as God commandment.

I'll give you some more to think about if you look up the word God that used in the Genesis 1 creation storyin the strongs it will be Elohim
the word Elohim means Representatives agents or Angels or gods with small G
now if you look up the word god from the Genesis 2 creation story then you have the almighty self-sustaining God
