  • Dear Partner, ‘Ia ora na
As a valued member of our Tahiti Tourisme family, we understand the significant impact the global COVID-19 crisis is having on you and your business.
Following the announcement of the travel ban to French Polynesia and repatriation, our Head Office team has been working around the clock to get the last of our visitors safely back home. In the coming weeks we will be working on campaigns to stay connected with our audiences on social media, preparing tools for our trade partners, and working closely with the government of French Polynesia for a robust recovery.
Our promise is to keep you informed, mitigate impacts where possible, provide you the resources you need, and develop plans to renew our industry, as we weather this storm together.
Due to the uncertainty and quick moving nature of the COVID-19 pandemic, please note that any end date for international travel bans published by the authorities of French Polynesia may change as the situation requires. Please check our website for the most up to date information. (www.TahitiTourisme.org)
Please do not hesitate to reach out to us with questions, ideas or concerns. We will work with you to limit the impact this global crisis has on our destination, while maintaining a commitment to the protection of our island paradise.
As you know, the people of The Islands of Tahiti love to share our spirit of Mana with the world. It is an embrace of warm welcome, affinity, and sacred connection. In this time of great difficulty, we wish to share our spirit with all of you and look forward to a day when we can welcome you once again.
With a message of solidarity and hope, we will recover from this global crisis and ensure a love of travel continues to #SunnierDaysAhead. On this matter our Ministry of Tourism, Nicole Bouteau, wanted to share this message with all of you, our dearest partners on the markets.
