Can you do standard deviation using formulas? I worked on this platform for over 20 years and created reports for an entire company using Query/400. One of the most stable platforms. Too bad it is dying out. I miss it to this day.
Hi Matthew. At the end of this video we aren't sure whether we are able to run the DB2 query directly from the CL. At 23m34s, as you are exiting through the various screens, I see the list of objects does not include the ones we made in DB2 and figured that was probably why we access with runqry. Then I noticed that in the next video in this series on SDA at 23m50s - ua-cam.com/video/2LgYF9W4l04/v-deo.html - the list of objects includes MESQRYDB2 and MESQRYSQL. So (1) it seems like exiting back through the screens may not refresh a list of objects, and (2) I wonder, if 'runqry mesqrydb2' would have worked?
I was an AS/400 user back in the mid nineties. I must say, to this day I see nothing about the AS/400 that could not be achieved on a standard Windows computer. The way of doing SQL on the AS/400 seems so 'awkward and clumsy'. However, having critical systems like hospital rostering running under Windows is terrifying.
