Tbf I think that's fine once you start hitting jackpots and have the money to just max out on ammo. I just think tbere should be insane quests later on that reflect two things. The abundance of ammo and the abundance of water. Maybe some way to spend that water to access absolutely fucked warzones, kinda like key cards in Tarkov. You maybe find exclusive stuff in there. Be they frames, skins for characters, weapons, equipment, but something that sets you apart, y'know?
@@MrEpicAndroid Sorry to burst your bubble, but the devs said they're never going to have players entering any vehicles, because it's not a part of the experience they're trying to build.
Yes its wild!! It took me 16 GL hits on the torso to kill it.. and I got some rations out of it. After you kill it there is a pop up "a medium mech has fallen. Chatter can be heard on all frequencies". After you get a quest to kill the pilot on a different map. It's so rad. :D
I have seen people who have gone through the code and game files say that every single thing in the game is killable (which is kind of odd, you shouldn't be able to take out a tank with 50 cal) just that some things have such huge health pools (multiple millions of hitpoints) that they're only practically killable with a whole squad maxed out for ammo.
@@Doom721 currently from what ive heard, the "toothy" mech, the eurasion "mother courage", and the Hunter killer hounds are the 3 main "unkillable" creatures, in the sense they both have 1 billion hp, even with a team of grenade launchers, your not killing ether of them, and all 3 have instakill grabs
Feels silly to me you can kill a huge armored mech with a .50 cal but you can't kill the robot dog covered in exposed joints. Like I get it, it and Mother Courage are meant to be horror encounters but it's still objectively goofy to drop a medium mech with an HMG meanwhile the puppybot has 40 quadrillion hp lol
8:40 the large item that you are looking at is the Exo Pilot you needed for your quest. You can just blast them out of their mechs and then "Save them".
Btw for Exo-huntint I love the granade launcher, it takes about a mag (6 rounds) to kill an exo, and if you are good you can ark the shots from befind cover. I do quick runs on Mech Trenches and get the rig for heavy items so i max out the money income. I also like to have quests on like hunt the hunter, bring her in, the exo parts quest, risky cargo, pull the plug (since they are quick and easy to do)
yeah its actually crazy how easy it is right now to kill Mechs with the GL. Currently the Anti Material Rifles are much weaker. (Maybe they are grat if you use the scanner for the weakpoints?) But it's early Access so its obviously not perfectly balanced
@@BouXIII yeah I'm hoping they'll balance everything out and add some more depth to the game, with better AI and maybe more of a reason to do quests. Also leveling up the characters is a pain, way longer then anything else in the game. I know it's just a game, but how does that gun's barrel not melt when spitting out so much .50 cal ammo? Would it be possible or practical to introduce a gun overheating mechanic, like they have in Star Wars: Battlefront? It would make game-play more challenging. Phil the Cat
did they update the game to where you can take them done now? I heard they were updating the game at some point that would let blow off hard points which would eventually take down the mechs EDIT: HOLY MOTHER OF GOD DID YOU BRING A LOT OF AMMO
Technically everything is killable it’s just the stats on some of the monsters and mechs are so ridiculous that 99.99% of the time you’ll either die or run outta ammo before you get to that point.
Devs saying that you're not that guy, and yet giving you options and tools to become that guy. What a joke. But I get it, the game is in such a raw state it's exploitable in numerous ways. By the looks of it, it's still good few years of development away from its intended gameplay loop and mechanics.
