    I have a daycare so it’s probably not applicable to a preschool, but I take a picture of any important builds and send to their parents.

    I love your ideas, especially the natural items! I’m struggling to find room to fit all these different bins though!

    I loved this podcast! It was very detailed and specific. I have been in this field for over 20 years, and I learned some new things here. Are there other center area podcasts as detailed as this one?

    Hi Vanessa! I really love your videos!! I have 2 questions for you. #1 Where did you get your chica-chica-boom boom alphabet tree? And #2 I have ages 2-5 in a mixed group. I do types of centers each day. The AM center time I will pick the partner teams and time my rotations around the room. I choose which centers I have out, and "working with teacher" is one of them in the rotation. This is where I do my informal assessments and individualized learning. When I choose the partner teams I know who will work best with less noisy conflict so my attention can be given to my small group. In the PM, I let them choose teams and go to "open choice centers" so they can have that free time to be more self-directed. What is your honest opinion of doing it this way? I'm always looking for critical thinking of my teaching strategies. Thanks so much!

      Thanks for watching! The tree is from Lakeshore Learning. It sounds like you have a good system going in your mixed-age classroom. Keep up the good work!

    Do you put toys on a basket before putting them in the dishwasher?

    • @PreKPagesvideos
      @PreKPagesvideos  2 роки тому

      it really depends on the toy. For small things, you can put them in mesh lingerie bags.

    I can’t imagine 20 plus kids in a classroom.

    I really want to watch your videos, there are so many which seem very interesting and informative. Unfortunately the 'boop' and sound effects which sound every time a word / phrase appears at the bottom is beyond distracting. Clearly this is not a common issue with your followers but it makes the episodes unwatchable to those with auditory processing issues.

      I suggest listening to the audio only podcast version, there are no sound effects there. You can find us on your favorite podcast app, search for Elevating Early Childhood.
