Trains on the Great Eastern, Witham 2001

A various collection of trains at Witham in 2001, with the push pull trains, Class 321 and even a Freightliner 57. I was only 4 whilst my dad filmed this footage and you may hear me making various 'train noises' on the platform next to him as he films.

I was in school at that time lol but I do remember First Great Eastern. Before it was renamed and rebranded to One Railway (National Express East Anglia) and today known as Greater Anglia.

The liveries were definitely nicer back then. They all seem rather bland and cheap looking nowadays.
Anglia livery suited the 86s well. I used to live near Crown Point where they were based and a badly regret not taking any photos of them before they went. Too late now I guess. You live and learn.
