In June, my husband and I went camping on the lakeside of Ullswater, which is the second largest lake in the Lake District. We stayed at the Waterside House Campsite for 4 days. The campsite is located near the Pooley Bridge, right on the shore of the Ullswater.
On our 1st day, we went hiking up to Hallin Fell (388m) and enjoyed the panoramic view of Ullswater
On the second day, we drove along the lakeside road, to enjoy the view of rolling mountains, valleys and rocky beach. We explored Aira Force Waterfall, Penrith, Glenridding and Pooley Bridge.
