Sorry, I didn´t understand the last answer... Why the last 16 bits of the subnet are the ID?

2001:db8:acad:0000:0000:0000:aaaa:1234 is the ipv6 address, subnet ID is always the 4th section from left to rigth, so subnet ID is 0000 , 16 bits, 4 hexadecimal numbers
