What about the nitrophyl coated floats? I read these were are a military grade impervious to ethanol based fuels.

John, any tips on how to deal with the choke being frozen on the SU carb?

I have always used a 1/8 drill bit as the spacer - significantly smaller than the one you have used. This might explain why you needed to bend that arm so far?
